Hows the rebuild looking?

Postby tresskid84 » Mon May 04, 2020 4:59 pm

Just finished my picks in this years drafts for my major rebuild. Here's the team currently:

16tm PPR, Superflex, 1.5 TE prem, DEVY:
1 QB, 1 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 SF, 3 Flex
Draft is current rookies and devy (only NFL draft-eligible players for the following year) combined

QB: T Lawrence (DEVY), J Fields (DEVY), Grier
RB: Etienne (DEVY), C Hubbard (DEVY), N Harris (DEVY), K Brooks (DEVY), B Scott, B Scarbrough, B Love
WR: C Lamb, T McLaurin, J Chase (DEVY), R Moore (DEVY), J Waddle (DEVY), T Higgins, T Wallace (DEVY), Isabella, Pettis, A Tate, Bisi, G Ward
TE: H Hurst, Sternberger, Firsker, B Jordan(DEVY), C Kolar(DEVY)
2021 Picks: three 1sts, one 2nd

How is the rebuild looking, and if I were to look to trade Hurst and/or one or two of the extra 2021 1's I have, what kind of player/position would you target?

That is quite the long-term build. no specific position to target. in theory, you're set everywhere and with all devys, could be screwed anywhere. Hurst never should have sniffed 1st round draft capital or 2nd round trade value but he was never a bad prospect, no reason to move him with your other TE options. I'm assuming you like your squad so I'd mostly let the roster marinate for a year and take trade value if it comes. You need depth in this format so I wouldn't hesitate to sacrifice some upside for "certainty" if you aren't aging up too much.
