More to come, and thanks as always for the feedback and suggestions! We genuinely appreciate it.

The new feature that suggests a player to add to the short side is pretty slick. Easy to wrap my head around how to even up a trade offer.

This thing is evolving nicely.

Does this have historical values?
I think they underrated some QBs.
Interesting to see Doctson valued below a guy like Jalen Richard, lol.

No, those values are updated daily. No historical data.

As for specific player values... you are always going to find someone who's value may not align with yours. It's an algorithm which incorporates data from various sources. It's never going to replace human perspective. All we can hope for is to get it as close to 'good' as possible.

That's fair. Sorry if I came off as too critical. Didn't mean to come off that way.

I had a question about something I found odd in the trade analyzer.

Why is Jameis Winston more valuable than Kirk Cousins in 1 QB settings, yet in 2 QB/SF Kirk is more valuable?

Each league/format type pulls in a different set of data. Regular 1QB dynasty Rankings vs 2QB/SF rankings; Dynasty ADP vs completely separate Superflex; and actual real-world trades are different for both. So there are inevitably going to be some differences in comparative value. I hope that makes sense. Thanks!

I found something odd, too. Will Fuller is valued 120 points less in 2QB format, from 235 to 113. That seems like an unusually large drop. Is It correct?

Yeah, that's a noteworthy difference. Goes back to using two different sources for data - 1QB rankings, ADP & trades vs. SF rankings, ADP & trades. It's helpful for clearly separating the value of players to reflect the authentic difference between 1QB & SF leagues. But the downside is that there will be players like this where there are trades that occur in SF leagues that do not occur in 1QB that affect values, also the different SF rankings & ADP will contribute to two different, unique data sets.

Not sure what the answer is there. Mostly, just take all of these values with a grain of salt as really, no formula or player value algorithm is ever going to be 'right' because... what really is right?

Not a terrific answer, I agree. But hopefully that helps?

Thanks

Actually, that makes sense to me and is kind of what I suspected. It's a good reminder to use it as a tool, not as a gospel. I asked if it was right from the point of the algorithm working as expected and not producing an error from the available data. Thanks for the reply!

Like others have mentioned, a TE premium adjustment would be great.

Also, adding a startup pick calculator would be extremely helpful. However, that might be better as a totally separate tool

Nice job of producing a very functional tool. I have been using it for every trade proposal. Sometimes as a sanity check, other times to construct a reasonable trade and also as a tie-breaker. It will be interesting to see the adjustments as we start seeing results from training camps in a month and pre-season. It was also useful in our rookie draft to support the other available tools/rankings and may help with final cut-downs. This may be my favorite feature of the site.

Thank you for this tool. I use it to get an idea of who to offer or ask for. Sure my bias comes in sometimes but still a very good tool.
