Re: Why is it my responsibility to trade with you?
I hear where you're coming from with regards to the frustration of an owner peppering you with offers that miss the mark. And agree that it's every owner's prerogative to deal or stand-pat as they see fit. In my experience, the other owner isn't usually trying to insult you intentionally, but they h...

Re: Who to drop?
Lot of things to consider here, and your league is a lot different than mine. But I'm guessing at 1.4 you're hoping Doug Martin falls to you so you can replace Blount as your "rookie" with Ingram. Then you've got to decide your two franchise players. Obviously, it's Newton. But then I'd as...

Re: Who to Keep??
If you're already keeping Lynch and Murray, I would then look at upgrading your WR situation. I think Denarius Moore is the best choice from that list. I'm not a huge Palmer fan, but the two have been working together to develop chemistry, and I think he could provide solid value at the position in ...

Re: RB Keepers
I'd keep Hunter based on his long term outlook and Redman for his projected 2012 contributions. It's a nice mix of Now N Later IMO. agreed. Let someone else get excited and overdraft Thomas, leaving someone else better to slip to you. That. And I think Hunter is a better inside runner than Rodgers....

Re: need trade advice involving Locker, Spiller, JStew
I think you did just fine really. It's basically the draft picks for Spiller, and you needed the RB help which you wouldn't have got with the picks. You didn't have to move a QB to get the deal done, and I like that you moved Bennett instead of either Cook or Davis.

"Chargers | Ryan Mathews frontrunner for third down role Fri Jun 1, 04:20 PM San Diego Chargers head coach Norv Turner said RB Ryan Mathews appears to be the frontrunner for the third-down running back role entering training camp. RB Curtis Brinkley and FB Le'Ron McClain could also be options f...

Re: Deal offered: which side do you want?
With Matthews and Sproles added to an already solid roster, you're competing right now for the title. The 2nd round pick could sweeten things for side "B", but it's uncertain where it will fall. For the proven production, I'm in big with side "A".

Re: Rookie Draft Just completed--thought I would share
I like what you're doing in moving picks and players for upgrades. It's likely not something you'll be able (or need) to do to that extent every year, but you don't have to wait as long for a return on your investment. And in the case of some rookies, and investment that never really pays off! Kind ...

Re: Thanks DLF! my team after 9 months
Wow, that's an amazing change with your RB core. Can you let us know how you did it...was it waiver wire moves + trades or draft picks and trades? I would love to be able to swap Gore, Tolbert, and Grant for Mathews and Richardson without (seemingly) any effect on other positions. This. I don't see...

Re: Playing for next year
I think there is a balance to be struck... The problem with playing for next year is that it is too ambiguous. You end up always playing for next year. I took over an orphan team last year (in my sig.) I made the decision to play for 2013, not just "play for the future." I totally agree. ...

Re: 5 Player Dynasty trade
I think you get a bit of a boost in 2012 if you make the deal with JStew + Johnson > Martin + Floyd. There's no real age issues with the players, though you do retain a little more youth with the rookies. It's a fairly close deal though as I look at it, but I'd be likely to accept. I like getting th...

Re: Lamar Miller
Miller is someone I'd be happy getting early/mid 2nd-round, as I don't think his situation is as bad as some believe. But if the buzz around him continues, I'm afraid his value could continue to rise a bit more. If you're an August drafter, you may need to use a late 1st on him if he's the guy you w...

Re: Playing for next year
I had to "play for the future" last year when Peyton didn't play, Orton got benched in week 4, and Bradford spent most of the season with a bad ankle. It was not fun. I don't advise it. Not that I ever fielded an illegal lineup, just that each week on paper I knew my team was an underdog (...

Re: Shane Vereen 1st team reps
I think all this really means is that Vereen will indeed be in the mix for meaningful carries in 2012. Ridley clearly has a role, Woodhead is the younger version of Kevin Faulk in my estimation, and Addai is the veteran insurance - though he may not even make the 53-man roster due to declining skill...
