Re: Oddest blind bids you saw in leagues last night???
In 3 of 3 real startup dynasty drafts I did this year, James Davis is safely owned. So in leagues such as those, the bid price for an unowned guy like Brandon Jackson should be higher. In leagues where James Davis & similar players are un-owned, the bid price of B-Jax should be lower, since ther...

Re: Trade offered to me
Alrighty, I'll admit to being thoroughly confused. I'm looking in your signatures & don't see either of those players on either of your teams. I bought into Mike Thomas & Mark Clayton. I'm thinking of Mike Thomas to be a 7 reception for 60 yards kinda guy, with an occasional touchdown. I'd g...

To me:
Thomas > Clayton > 3rd round pick >= Gonzo.
Don't make the trade!!!!!

Re: Oddest blind bids you saw in leagues last night???
I guess the bottom line is that the deeper your benches are, the more $$$ you should throw in when a Jackson type of player becomes available. The 2010 version of Jamaal Charles could be: Javon Ringer Kareem Huggins Anthony Dixon Rashad Jennings etc etc In a league with deep benches, those guys are ...

Re: How about starting new forum for "who should I start"???
Yeah it's definitely needed. As-is, I can't even look at the team advice forum, it's too cluttered up with "who do I start" threads. In the meantime, I'll just be hanging out on the Dynasty Discussion Forum.

How about starting new forum for "who should I start"???
The "who should I start" questions tend to jumble up the dynasty team advice forum, as well as the redrafter forum. I think it'd be best to start a brand new forum for lineup decisions. Whether it's a dynasty or redrafter league, the who should I start questions will be the same. Just a th...

Re: Where Will V Jax Land?
If he goes to Minnesota, I wonder what that will do to Sidney Rice? Do they put him on IR, or does he come back & make an insane duo of 6'4"+ receivers for Favre to throw to?

Re: Oddest blind bids you saw in leagues last night???
I just paid $8 for Fred Taylor ($100 season limit).
We just saw 2 RBs for for the full $100 though....Brandon Jackson & Kareem Huggins. I understand B-Jax, but I didn't realize the Huggins hype train is still at the point where people are spending their full season's limit on him.

Re: Seneca Wallace likely to start
I'm in a league that has a superflex position, and I'm stoked to just have nabbed Wallace.
My other QBs:
Brees
Stafford
Moore
TJax
So Wallace might come in really really handy.

Re: Seneca Wallace likely to start
Actually Delhomme would be good at connecting with Winslow. Of course it'd only happen if Cleveland is playing Tampa Bay, and Delhomme overthrows his receivers & the ball sails out of bounds.Lumps wrote:Anyone over Delhomme has to mean better numbers for Massoquai and Winslow.

Re: EDIT - Ryan Grant out for the season
In 1 of my startup dynastys, our rosters were frozen from draft time until today.
Through waivers and FCFS, I replaced lendale, lynell, and sutton with fred taylor, keiland, and Nance.
Pickings were super slim, so I'll take what I can get.

Re: EDIT - Ryan Grant out for the season
Any potential for Dimitri Nance? If you google him up, you'll find falcons messageboards full of people saying that the falcons blew it by letting him go.
Or is he just one of those fullback type of players that offers no contribution?

Re: How much (in redrafters) are you bidding for Brandon Jac
In 1 league (where I needed a RB the most), someone went all in, bidding $200 for him.
In my other 2 leagues, he went for $140.

How much (in redrafters) are you bidding for Brandon Jackson
I have 3 redrafter leagues with $200 annual blind bidding dollars.
This is my first year using free agent blind bidding in our leagues.
Just wondering how much on average the winning bids for B-Jax are coming in at? $101??? $111? $200??
Or maybe less, something like $51?
