Re: Viewing RB's coming back from injury

The issue is while you can argue that these guys will return to form, the problem is you have to wait 1-2 years losing most or all of that time in there prime which means that they will likely never recoup the ability to ascend to elite value again if the injury happens any time after the rookie ye...

Re: Viewing RB's coming back from injury

I definitely wouldn't say that the price adjustments were crazy by any means and I think accounting for the risk, loss of valuable years and added uncertainty make sense. Just going through the main names, dobbins you effectively lost almost 2 years of his prime, and they likely need to add an rb in...

It's definitely not the worst price to pay if you wanna lock up a qb, I'd you're not looking there if just hold and 4

12 team 2qb I'd put him value probably in the 1.8 or 1.9 range.

Re: Christian McCaffrey Thread: CMC Extension

Is he worth trading a couple mid 1sts for at this stage of his career? Id like to pair him with JT as my starting rbs in one league but I’m not sure his longevity will be there to give up two firsts for him even tho when he plays he’s stupidly productive. Are the games he plays in for whatever is l...

Re: Rule of Thumb for Trading Up/Back

The realistic way to do it is to look at the likely players available at those picks
1.4-young/stroud/Gibbs/jsn
1.15- downs/boutte/mayer/achane/bigsby

And try to figure out the value gap there in. Akers might do it, maybe a bit on top

Re: Tyjae Spears, RB

I'm skeptical of small school seniors who only really produce on their senior year. There's probably a few outliers that would prove me wrong but I feel like the sample size is too small. Obviously this goes out of the window if someone (except SF) spends high draft capital on him then I can see ge...

Re: 2023 NFL Draft - Bears Edition

I know in fantasy we tend to skew value to the offense side of the ball but it wouldn't surprise me at all to see Carter and Anderson go 1 and 2 in this draft. I could see Stroud going top 2 due to his creativity to create plays but the QB's class are not in the class of a Lawrence type that was a ...

Re: Kayshon Boutte, WR

He's got the talent, but smart thing to do is let NFL draft capital determine who to draft over him. If Downs/Flowers/Hyatt/anybody gets 1st round DC and Boutte goes mid 2nd or worse then it's a no brainer. Always take the 1st round WR over value talent that falls. For the most part I agree but I w...

Team makeup and market dependent. If I'm contending I'd need an overpay, rebuilding I'd take a pair of 1s or a good one and a high 2 probably

Re: Older Players—Trade or Keep?

It really depends if you've got a guy who's obviously right at that age cliff but there value hasn't had a corresponding decrease yet. Sell em, 2017 rbs last year, Zeke and henry the year before that etc. Generally for rbs this is the age 26-27 season. After this there will be a sharp decline in eit...

Mid 23 or random 24 1st seems fair.
On a contender I could definitely see paying that, don't know for sure if it'd get him though and I don't think Id to higher

Re: Way, way, waaaay too early 2023 Draft class thread

Read a super important post earlier today that demanded the consideration of the DLF Forum. For owners of Travis Etienne and Ja'marr Chase, there is one target, and one target alone that you simply *must* draft in 2023. I'm talking - of course - about LSU Stud WR Kayshon Boutte. Because really, no ...
