Re: Share something you learned this year!

For me- I have to tell myself to stop paying for RBs, it's not 2002 anymore. I have had the old school, RB first mentality for awhile, justifying it with relative success. But this year saw me pay for - Ball, Ellington, AP, Knowshon, not to mention the ones that worked- Charles, Foster, and Forsett...

Re: Marshall+2016 1st or Hill

Marshall still has WR2/3 relevance regardless of scoring format for the next few years. It really depends on what you think you can get with the pick, and what your needs are. Hill is young, and has proven he can perform. Heads up though, Hugh Jackson his OC than likes to use him so much, has at lea...

Re: Crowell value in rookie picks?

Yeah, but I would put some stock into a game crew covering the Browns game saying that in talking with members of the Browns coaching staff, they feel that West is their best back, he has just been inconsistent. I think West is the better back to own long term. Crowell did not do much the second ha...

Re: Trade offer for L Bell

This is just me and anyone can disagree (you're not going to hurt my feelings. Lol) BUT...if he's not budging on OBJ then I wouldn't budge on Bell. Do you really want to load him up with the top RB in the nfl and a possible top 5 WR??? I sure wouldn't. It sounds like he's playing hard ball and that...

Re: Trade offer for L Bell

Was offered Josh Gordon and LeSean McCoy for L Bell. Do I accept? 10 team PPR start two backs two receivers one flex. RB- bell Ingram Mason Ivory Martin WR- Watkins Benjamin Torrey Davante Adams Allen Robinson Mi Floyd Not a chance. Gordon has not proven he is elite. Lightning in a bottle type seas...

Re: Kaep vs. Carr

I would pass on any offer involving Carr. His QBR was under 40. Nearly every QB who has had a QBR under 40 survived only a couple seasons in the league, if that. There's never been a rookie QB in the history of the NFL that had a QBR rating less than 40 to go on to be a productive QB. Kaepernick, o...

Re: Trading away aging elite players

Another option is to try and trade him to a team that is IN contention for the next few years. I, myself went to the finals this year. Bell, Hyde, Dez, Matt Ryan/Roethlisberger, Gates, Golden Tate, to name a few all will put me in contention next year as well. I have this years 1.01, and will probab...

Re: Crowell value in rookie picks?

I still look at Crowell as a guy who can be a top 5 fantasy RB, nothing at all has changed for me. Too often, people let results from 1 game shift their opinions too drastically. Crowell turns 22 years old in a week, and hopefully will have a 5-8 year career as a good RB and hopefully with some gre...

Re: Trading for 1.1

I have the 1.1, and it would take a boatload to move it. A couple of high firsts and a proven commodity. I just don't think you can trade away a guy that almost beat Barry Sanders record (and passed Marcus Allen) for anything less.

Re: Crowell value in rookie picks?

I'd want a 1st of some type, minimum. I like his running style, and I wouldn't be ready to sell him. It would have to be a good enough offer to give up waiting to see what the Browns do with him. A mid-1st & and 2nd and he's sold. I would offer a mid to late first. No more. He isn't even a star...

Re: C. Sims for T. West

Give me West. I think West has a better overall game than Sims. Worth case scenario is West splits carries with Crowell, best case is he takes the job outright, which would make him a RB1. I think best case for Sims is 50/50 RBBC Gut feeling says West ends up taking over the starting job next seaso...

Re: Gordon or Gurley?

Curious that everyone is anointing Gordon since he had a very good bowl game performance, when Gurley would have done the same. Nick Chubb had 33-266-2. If Gurley would have had that this forum would have exploded for Gurley. Then when Gordon played his bowl game, it would have swung in his favor j...

Re: C. Sims for T. West

Terrance West is easily the better back. Despite the Crowell Hype, the Cleveland staff like West as the better overall back, but his consistency is the issue. (Thus the benchings) 18 carries, 94 yards 1 TD, against a very stout Baltimore run D, in Baltimore, with Baltimore needing a win to make the ...
