I'm probably in the minority and would prefer Herbert to Mahomes straight up but the 2023 1st puts the Mahomes side over the top in this scenario.

It's not a bad offer like everyone is saying. I would hold for now and continue shopping to see what others may offer. I think you've got some good young pieces to build around though if you do decide to keep him.
