Re: Dalvin Cook+ for late 1st and early 2nds
The idea would be to get a bunch of these rookie QBs, who will almost assuredly rise in value next year. The talk of 5 QBs going in the 1st of the NFL, as many as 4 in the top 11 or so, should increase the value of each of these picks unless I'm missing something? If the 5 QBs are gone by 1.13, I'll...

Dalvin Cook+ for late 1st and early 2nds
Original offer by me was Cook for 1.09, 2.01 (which is actually 14th), and 2.02 (15th). He countered adding Doyle to Cook. QB: Bortles, Manning, Bradford RB: Gurley, David Johnson, Cook, CMC, Rob Kelley WR: Tyreek Hill, Allen Robinson, Watkins, Dez...dart throws TE: Engram, Reed, Doyle Picks: 1.07, ...

Re: Trading for 1.1?
The new trade has the potential to set you up for years. If 2 of those top 5 QBs can be had at 1.11 and 1.13, this trade will probably look super lopsided in a year or two. Additionally, is there an actual difference between 1.03 and 1.05 in SF? I don't really see that there is. 1.05 to 1.10 is a re...

Re: 1st Round TE's aren't what you think, and neither is Adam Shaheen.
We've all heard the trope "1st round TE's never bust" or they "hold their value really well". I don't think this is a thing, at least not that I've seen. I did some work on Tight Ends last year that looked back at 1st round Tight Ends drafted from 2001-2016 that sort of said wha...

Re: Moncrief value
Moncrief is no where near Davis in value, and that's coming from a staunch Moncrief supporter in the 2016 offseason. I still hold out hope for him as I don't think he's actually gotten a chance to put it all together with a healthy Luck. His contract will be pretty telling as to how NFL teams actual...

Re: 2018 1.09 for Robert Woods?
I definitely find it interesting people are fine with Woods for 1.09 but prefer 1.11 to Dez. I see a big difference in ceiling, and frankly, talent, with a similar floor. I wonder what that diagram of people would look like. I'm likely taking Woods over 1.09 and 1.11 over Dez, but I'd wonder if mor...

Re: Using your rookie picks vs. trading them for proven players
As others have said, it's definitely team/league dependent. Various strategies should be used for various teams, and falling into one can often leave a team in a bad spot. I enjoy this general conversation, but I do hate the labels. Rookie picks are given the "super risky" label, while pro...

Re: My offer for 1.1
Not very good. What part of it? McKinnon and the later picks should be worth the 2.1 . So 1.4 and 1.6 isn’t good offer? I don't agree with this. The picks aren't that valuable, and I'd argue even less valuable since you have so many at this point in time. McKinnon is very ancillary in a trade that ...

Re: Poll: Superflex Cousins vs Ryan/Woods
I'd agree; I don't want to pencil him as a WR2 on any of my teams. I'd say this trade values him as a WR5, though.

Re: Poll: Superflex Cousins vs Ryan/Woods
Strongly on the Ryan/Woods side. If I can get a potential WR2 to "trade down" within a position group, that seems incredibly cheap. Matt Ryan likely regresses to the mean in 2018 anyway and puts up similar numbers to Kirk. You win this trade 8 times out of 10, and at least 2 of those times...

Re: Dynasty league sites
Ya, it's not there. I usually use fantasydata since most of my leagues are PPR.
If you've got more obscure scoring, then that won't work, and you'd probably have to do it with excel, which would be boring but not too difficult if you really need the data.

Re: Dynasty league sites
Not specifically a dynasty related question but this is the first year I've ever played in a league that used ESPN (and I'm definitely not a fan...). Maybe I'm missing something but I've been unable to find anywhere in the app or on the web site that allows me to set my lineup for the upcoming week...

Re: Buy low or sell: Abdullah
This is a bad take. Ryan Mathews get ragged on for injuries, but when he was healthy he was very good, yet he lost goal line touches to Tolbert and receptions to Woodhead (both were undrafted). Melvin Gordon lost receptions to Woodhead, too. Both of those guys were highly touted 1st round picks. Lo...

Re: How do you rebuild?
Why do you think you're in rebuild mode? your team looks fine. you have plenty of talent and youth, and with a little luck from your RB you should be a playoff contender. I don't see any reason to tear anything down. Agreed. This is a "wait and see" type team that actually has a nice upsi...

Re: How do you rebuild?
I'm not a huge fan of the 3 for 2 swap when you're rebuilding. You probably won on value with that trade, but it's by no means a rebuilding move. If you're team is actually in need of a rebuild, I think a move like that can land you in the middle of the pack more often than not. Looking at just this...
