Re: Selling Mahomes
I own Mahomes in a 6 point for td pass league. I’d 100% trade him for a Ty Hill, JuJu, Mike Evans type player straight up. Haha yeah no bleep. Idk what people are saying that Mahomes is better than those other guys in 6 pt passing TDs. You guys realize every single other QB gets that benefit too. I...

Re: Correlation and Causation are two different things
Correlation indicates causation. The popular truism ( "correlation isn't causation" ) reminds us that an indication isn't a guarantee. Regardless, OP is just cherry-picking examples of false-positive correlation, and one can just as easily do the opposite. If the OP's argument is that we ...

Re: Top ‘19 Rookie Scenarios (talent + situation)
Was gonna say Metcalf to Oakland but then I remembered that Carr doesn’t like throwing to WRs anymore, as Jared Cook led the team in receiving yards this past year and I don’t think a single WR had over 600 yards. (Quietly gets popcorn) Haha not sure what you’re saying here but that post of mine wa...

Re: Correlation and Causation are two different things
What are some good examples of the opposite? Just off the top of my head: - Kyle Shanahan RBs are effective almost regardless of talent/pedigree (dating back to Steve Slaton) - Andy Reid practically manufactures fantasy RB1s (dating back to at least Westbrook) - Brady's Pats consistently create und...

Re: OJ Howard buy or sell?
Strong Buy imo. Use the Arians’ nonsense to your advantage. He’s never had a TE with even a third of the talent as OJH. Howard will get his and could be a top 4 TE for the next 5 years.

Re: Mixon Or 2019 1.01
Mixon by a mile regardless of your team composition. Mixon should be worth at least two firsts, potentially even three.

Re: Mike+ vs Thielen+
Piling on the Michel/Thielen side. I’d imagine you can get wayyyyy more than that given Sony’s playoff success. There are bound to be people in who view Sony as a top 12 dynasty RB now, hopefully someone in your league does.

Re: Correlation and Causation are two different things
The flip side is Mike Martz not knowing what to do with Greg Olsen, being disappointed he didn't fit in his scheme and shipping Olsen to Carolina. Yeah agreed. Some coaches just don’t know how to use talented players but generally good coaches/QBs make the best use of their most talented players.

Re: Top ‘19 Rookie Scenarios (talent + situation)
Also, the logic that Brady likes TEs and Rodgers doesn’t is way overblown imo. Jermichael Finley was producing like a top 5 TE before he got hurt and Jimmy Graham is not the elite talent he was a few years ago. Brady has has stud TEs to work with the past 8 years. Prior to Gronk/that other criminal...

Re: Correlation and Causation are two different things
Brandin Cooks wasn't going to get 100 targets, and 1000 yards wasn't likely, because he was going to be filling the "Watkins role" of field stretcher/decoy in McVey's offense, remember. That one was my favourite in recent memory. Lololol and Bruce Arians hates TEs because he never made Da...

Re: Top ‘19 Rookie Scenarios (talent + situation)
Used to be that at Rodgers age players began to drop off, then Brady broke that barrier and still going. And turf toe isn't what got Manning, he had a MAJOR neck injury (remember his last year in Indy) that caused issues with his shoulder at the end of his career. Favre started physically deteriora...

Correlation and Causation are two different things
I’m tired of hearing people use a player/coach’s past tendencies to dictate their future actions. I’ve heard people say things like Bruce Arians doesn’t like TEs or Brady loves TEs but Rodgers doesn’t. Maybe it isn’t that they have a preference for a certain type of player but rather that they make ...

Re: Top ‘19 Rookie Scenarios (talent + situation)
QB - NYG RB - KC, BAL WR - CLE, IND, OAK TE - NE I like the call someone made with TE to NE. If Gronk is done, I could see everyone viewing a NE drafted TE on day 1 or 2 as the next Gronk I’ve seen mocks with Noah Fant going to Green Bay. That sounds like a potential top 5 Pick to me. Way better th...
