Re: Why does Alshon get a pass

I think it's a bit short sighted to try to use Cutlers stats while under lovie as a baseline. This is clearly a team who's offense will carry them and will score a lot of points under tressman. I think last year Chicago's qbs combined for the 3rd most fantasy points. They definitely thrown enough t...

Re: CALVIN JOHNSON

I have Calvin. I'm probably just gonna ride him into the ground. There are just too many other examples of height-speed freak WR superstars exactly like him remaining fantasy elite well into their 30s for me to not think Calvin is a strong bet to do the same. Andre Johnson, Moss, Owens, Carter... th...

Re: Committee in Seattle?

There was never going to be a full-blown committee. That was always plainly just coach-speak. Bevell's history as an OC doesn't even support the notion. I think what's really going to happen is that Michael will approach around a 100 carries this year, probably just a bit south of that. Lynch will s...

Re: Why does Alshon get a pass

Count me as another owner of Jeffery that still agrees with the OP. Those 1500 yards from scrimmage last season? Yeah, that's not happening again in 2014, and not in 2015, either. For fantasy purposes, I'm pretty bummed Marshall has been extended. The issue isn't Jeffery's talent; the issue is his c...

Re: Who is this years Miller and Willson?

Michael doesn't make sense for this, because unlike Wilson and Miller last year -- who were each projected to be STARTERS -- absolutely no one is predicting Michael to get more touches than Lynch. Barring a Lynch injury, Michael will be an RB3 in fantasy, at best. 2015 is his estimated break-out (so...

Re: Committee in Seattle?

"With the 32nd pick of the 2015 NFL draft the Seattle Seahawks select: Todd Gurley, RB, Georgia" lulz. Except Seahawks draft too smart to take an RB in the first-round. The best NFL front-offices are finally wising up to making that mistake in this era. if Bevell really embraces the RBBC ...

Re: Ridley & Bowe 2014

Bowe is dead to me in dynasty, and he should be dead to everyone else, too. He'll be 30 to start the season, and the tape plainly showed him failing to get separation like he used to. He claims it was from lack of conditioning, but I have my doubts. And regardless, I don't ever want to see a wide-re...

Re: Ryan Broyles pain free

Sure, he's pain free. Now if only his knee ligaments weren't made of bubble-gum. But seriously, though... it's alright to stash him if you have nothing better to roster at the end of your bench, but the nanosecond (if and when) he has a good game and starts generating buzz. you should immediately tr...

Listen d**k, I wasn't trying to be a smart a**. I'm not familiar with the condition and it sounded as if you were in your post. Of course I could do my own research, but I just thought I'd get the info I was seeking from you since you seemed to be informed... I'm not busting your balls, man. But it...

Re: David Wilson

Some guy named Michael Irvin. Another guy named Cooper Manning, has a couple of brothers you may have heard of, was forced to quit football because of it. People also think it's why Scott Fujita was forced to retire. Chris Samuels, an All-Pro and six-time Pro-Bowler, had to retire early. Marcus McNe...

Re: Committee in Seattle?

When they drafted Michael, they did so with Lynch still having plenty of tread. Do you think they wouldn't draft another RB in next year's (as of now) deep class to put into a timeshare? Unless Michael is another Peterson or McCoy type, I think it's a big risk to assume he'll be all by himself in t...

Re: Committee in Seattle?

But it does tell me that 2015 is looking more and more likely to be The Year for C-Mike. So you think Lynch will get put into a committee for 2014 but Michael won't get put into a committee for 2015? With Turbin? No . There's a reason why the coaching staff and front-office hasn't bothered to name-...

Quizz Rodgers.

Re: Committee in Seattle?

As a C-Mike owner, this doesn't really tell me to expect C-Mike to be a startable asset this year. Barring an injury, I still can't imagine Lynch getting less than 250+ carries in 2014. But it does tell me that 2015 is looking more and more likely to be The Year for C-Mike. It's become very apparent...
