I think the 2017 draft is getting so overrated it's not funny.

Basically an owner kept all 24 players which meant he wouldn't have any picks and that they would be skipped moving everyone up one place, we were 5 or 6 picks in before he realized and messaged the board.

So to cut a long story short i made a trade in a rookie draft (Snead and a 3.05) to get the 7th pick to draft Shepard but because of a draft issue the draft had to start again and instead the pick became 8th and Shepard was taken at 1.07. The common denominator for good leagues free or not are a good active commissioner and active owners regardless of the competitiveness of the owners.

I play in all free leagues and the best ones always have a good commish without fail.

I created a league last year for this very reason to try and equal out RB's WR's and TE's because of the trend of everyone going heavy WR's all the time. 12 team is fine for superflex, it's pretty much the same as 2 QB but it doesn't kill teams that can't play 2qbs one week because of buys etc.
