Re: DLF Staff Start Up Draft
I really like what Spawns of Sweetness is doing. I think they traded their 2014 1st, but I also think they picked up a 2014 2nd. Regardless, this squad should contend for the title each of the next 3 years. 1.08 8. Spawns of Sweetness Charles, Jamaal KCC RB 3.07 31. Spawns of Sweetness Fitzgerald, L...

Re: My pick in Rookie draft
Patterson is still available? I think you pass on RB and get him. I know you have a need at RB, but I'm a big believer in always taking BPA unless the options are fairly close. Patterson is better than the RB options you have available. Personally, I'd trade Brees for a RB and keep Newton with Flac...

Re: Vincent Brown
In ppr leagues V.Brown is the man to own in S.D. Alexander flashed some productivity but no way do I trust his knees. Brown should be the slot guy and with Gates aging and two bigger wr on either side of him, I see most of the short to intermediate passes going his way. Brown is an excellent route ...

Re: Marcedes Lewis or ...
Looks like your in-season waiver wire will be full of Walker/Lewis/Chandler types. If so, I'd take Green (or Moeaki) now. If your TE1 stays healthy and productive, your young guy will have time to develop. If your TE1 goes down, you can drop the young guy for a Walker/Lewis/Chandler type.

Re: Huge offer halfway through the startup draft. Advice Nee
i wish they wouldnt allow trading of picks in start ups like this. i always feel the fairest way to start a league is to give every team equal opportunity. this just doesnt seem right to me. the inexperienced owners like myself always end up behind and have trouble digging out of the hole. I get yo...

Re: When is it time to deal Megatron?
Starting QB's in my league are: Roethlisberger, Luck, (Kaep or RG III), Rodgers, Newton, Wilson, Eli, Brady, Stafford, Peyton, Brees, and Romo. The teams with Romo, Peyton, Eli, and Newton have solid backups, so my only likely trade partners for a QB are the Stafford and Roethlisberger teams. The S...

Re: Pit matches offer for Sanders.
While I think WR in the second and third round will be capable of making me forget about Sanders, I don't think the Patriots will be able to select a WR in the second or third round that will make me forget about Sanders. They suck at drafting WR. Seriously bad. But I'll take anyone, whether someon...

Re: Revis Trade (+Sanchez)
Given the aerial firepower in that division (Cam to Smith, Ryan to Julio/Roddy, Brees to Colston/Graham) it's a good fit for the Bucs. I don't know if Revis is worth a 1st AND a 3rd though. Seems pricey. Sanchez for a 6th seems fair though. Sanchez, with his contract, has negative trade value. Inst...

I think the Pats will take a WR in the second or third that will make you forget about Sanders.Cy23 wrote:As a Patriots fan, I had been hoping the Steelers didn't match.

Re: Calling All Gronk Owners.
I'd call that fair value for Gronk. Probably couldn't have gotten him for that before the latest news.invisibulman wrote:Just traded for Gronk and didn't come cheap. Probably overpaid given the arm situation, but had the depth to cover it.
Gronk, 1.8, 2014 third.

V. Davis, L. Miller, D. Bowe, 2.5, 2014 first.

Re: Cam's Value
I realize my rankings differ slightly, I have him at #3 overall behind only Rodgers and Brees. However, QB is deep this year, in a 12 man league, I wouldn't place too much emphasis on grabbing one very high. He is very close to RG3, Luck, Ryan, Wilson and Kaepernick. This. I'm not drafting Cam unle...

Re: 32 team, duplicate players. can select our draft positio
The answer depends on your roster requirements and, to a lesser degree, scoring system. I like to create combined tiers for the first 60 or so players, which would get you through about 120 picks (or four rounds) of this draft. Notice the big drops in player value. This year, I see a big drop after ...
