Re: Trent's current market value?

Does anyone ever actually look at the blocking and play-calling when comparing these runs? Donald Brown's 50 yard run came from a 5 yard-wide hole in which Brown ran in a straight line for 20 yards before he was even threatened to be touched by a defensive player. His 3-yard TD run came from a shotg...

No. I don't know toooooo much about Sanu, but Nicks is still far too talented to trade away for a 2014 1st.

Re: Tavon Austin

So held to 23 snaps this week. Guy to own seems to be Pettis. You would think that the Rams would be using Austin a ton with bubble screens and short passing routes since their offence seems so inept, but what is going on with his usage? Don't own him, but owners must be concerned. I'm concerned in...

Re: Been Offered AP

I think it's fair value, but I would NOT do this trade for your team in sig. In a 2-QB league, you aren't winning a championship with a Stafford/Geno combination. While AP significantly upgrades your starting lineup for the next 2-3 years, you lose a lot of futre value that your team will need next ...

Re: Orange J Thomas, Cameron, Draft picks

While I agree that MUCH of Julius' value is tied to Manning, so what? 1st - Peyton has 2-4 years left. Can you really see him retiring this year or next with the current level of play? He's signed for this year + another 3 years. 2nd - Look at how much the TE position turns over in a matter of 3 yea...

Re: doug martin

C'mon guys.

Let me guess - we want to trade C.J. Spiler for Pierre Thomas as well?

This is dynasty, Doug is a stud, Wright/Jeffrey are prospects. You'd have to add at least a proven top10 RB/WR or at least (2) 1st round picks for those sides to be even remotely close.

Alshon Jeffrey or Julius Thomas?

Who would you rather for my team in sig? I already have J Graham but we can flex up to 3 TE's. I like Jeffery but he's essentially my 7th wr right now. There are a few teams in my league who have a significant need at TE, so at the very least I feel like I could flip Julius for a better return after...

Re: Josh Gordon

I don't really see the Dez comparisons on the football field. Dez seems a little bit (short-area) quicker and just a physical beast with the ball in his hands. To me, Gordon reminds me of stronger A.J. Green (with some polish needed, obviously). They've got similar size, but Gordon is a little stron...

Re: Did this really happen!???

To add to the list of bizarre fantasy football happenings: My team in sig (3-0 at the time) faced off against a bye-week/injury-depleted team last week (0-3 at the time). He had Randall Cobb and Greg Olsen on a bye. His starting lineup looked like this: Romo Woodhead/K. Hunter/J. Snelling Calvin/Cru...

Re: trade for mccoy

It's probably a matter of personal preference. I own both McCoy & Trent, and while I value Trent as a top7 Dynasty asset, McCoy is as "untouchable" as it gets for me. So that definitely tips the scales to the McCoy side. Hartline & TBMW are a wash, and the draft picks don't really ...

Re: Jets RB utilization

Anyone think Mike Goodson will amount to anything? Came into this thread to post the exact same question. I'll give my best bet at an answer: I think Goodson can be a valuable stash. The Jets obviously thought highly enough of Goodson when they signed him to a pretty decent contract (~$9M over 3 ye...

Re: Bradford or Tannehill?

I still believe in Bradford, at least to some degree. I expect that offense to start opening up as the season wears on. They need to realize that they cannot run the ball, and their best bet is to run an uptempto offense with 3 WR's on the field. Get creative with some of the play-calling and start ...

Re: Harvin for Cameron

I think Harvin is more valuable than Cameron in a vacuum, but this trade makes sense for your team given your WR depth and lack of startable TE's. That being said, I probably would insist that the "other pieces" involved in the trade benefit you - whether it be a few 2nd-3rd round picks or...

Re: Total rebuild....How'd I do?

I'm not really a fan of the last 2 trades. I think Lacy himself is worth 2 future 1st rounders, and Ridley is worth at least a 1st rounder. DJAX is very polarizing, but this should be a sell-high window for his owners. I think you sold low on Roddy White as well. There's not way his value doesn't in...
