Agree with the above that he’s most likely playing on the franchise tag for 2025. I’m assuming the Vikings draft a top 4 QB this year. Hopefully (for the Vikings’ sake) that player sees and capitalizes on the benefit of quickly establishing a connection with Jefferson.

Note that Hurts had some bad luck on interceptions this year. His turnover worthy play rate for the 2023 regular season was 6th best, but his 15 interceptions was on the other end at 27th.

That’s an interesting thought. I’m not sure that I agree unless the league makes significant rule changes that would disincentivize passing, which I believe is highly unlikely. A QB’s primary job is to distribute the football to his playmakers. Then those guys can do the work of moving it downfield...
