Re: Roster Cuts

Is there any way you could flip a guy or two for a pick or something? I do like Shorts and Montgomery but even your back end RBs are a bit too good to drop in a 16 team league. This league has such wonky trade values and I can never seem to work out trades that are fair value for me. My most recent...

Re: Woke up to this

I'm not a big fan of CP, Hill, or Ebron. Based on ADP, Ebron is worth around 2.06. Patterson and Hill are worth 3.05-3.06. So, to me, this really boils down to Landry vs 2 2017 1sts. That's probably good value, but if you are a Landry believer, then I can see not taking it. Based on ADP, Landry is w...

Gambling on draft picks

So, I had an interesting trade offer come in that I'm not sure what to think about. It's for team 1 in sig. 16 teams, start 1 QB, 1 RB, 1 WR, 1 TE, 2 Flex. (I'm ignoring DEF/K for this post) Essentially, I'm trading two 2016 1sts for one 2016 1st. The two I would be trading away are teams that I am ...

Re: Power Rankings

Anyone else willing to do this?

Again, I will do it for your league if you do it for mine.

Re: Rookie Fever - talk sense in to me

Cooper has gone 1.01 in most of my league. 1.02 in the rest. You are more likely looking at a choice of Gordon, Parker, White, Yeldon in that spot. If that's the case, then I love that trade. Sell high on Adams and you still get a great rookie. But if you know for a fact that Cooper is falling to 1....

Re: Olsen for Kelce

The steady production is my main motivation behind the trade. He likes both Olsen and Kelce. His motivation is that Olsen and Cameron have the same bye. He would make the trade so that he can keep Cameron (who he also likes a lot). Otherwise he would have to sell super low on Cameron or pick up a gu...

Re: Olsen for Kelce

He's a good buddy of mine and we constantly text about fantasy football stuff. He likes Olsen, but he also likes Kelce.

I'm not super high on Ryan, but I could see the value I'd gain in terms of youth. Definitely something to think about.

I don't think he minds trading future picks either.

Olsen for Kelce

Team 1 in sig. The guy in the league with Olsen has Cameron as his backup TE and they share a bye week. He's been shopping Cameron around the league and hasn't had any luck getting decent value for him. He's also hasn't been able to buy a cheap older vet fill in (Witten, Gates, etc). Just curious ab...

Re: AJ Green vs. J Mat

You are decently stacked at WR, but half of those names aren't fully proven. AJG, Cobb, and Hopkins have done it consistently. Cooper and Parker haven't proven anything. A Rob and Evans (and Matthews) did it some last year, but haven't done it consistently. Winston is nice, but you have a good mix o...

Re: Suspended Player in IR

My mindset has always been that there is a distinct difference between a suspension and an injury. Injuries are a part of the game. They happen more than we would like and cannot be planned for. There are some "injury prone" players, but that tag is often misused anyway. No one could have ...

Re: John Brown

Actually, in Arians last year in Pittsburgh, Brown put up 69/1108/2. Hilton put up 50/861/7 as a rookie WR in Arians lone year in Indianapolis. Not bad at all. Being a small receiver drafted with influence from Arians doesn't mean anything is a lock, but the only thing not going in Brown's favor at...

Re: I'm so stacked at WRs, I don't know what to do

I doubt Watkins + Bryant is enough to get AJG, but it's a decent opening offer. And while yes, people went for the guys who they like, that doesn't mean they like their team as a whole. Especially if it's a live auction, it can be easy to forget team composition during the draft itself. Afterwards, ...
