Re: Would you make a trade that you know is one sided?
In the past I've countered to include more to a deal I thought was lopsided in my favor. Nothing big, but as commissioner I felt I should try to be fair. Throw ins included a future 3rd or EJ Manuel (Superflex and was trading Orton). Depends on the person I guess... I'm hesitant to take a deal that...

Re: What's happened to AJ Green's Value?
Tony Romo was their QB though; not Andy Dalton. Dalton is a younger Romo imo. Underrated and over-critized for sh*t that just doesn't matter in fantasy football. Gets torn apart for not being able to win every game on his own but given help he performs better than 60+% of starting QB's. The list of...

Re: Possible collusion
Those are two awful deals. I'd guess you have a "feeder team" situation on your hands.

Re: Suggestions on Salary Cap implementation?
So, this is rough news to hear, but you definitely would have been better off setting the cap before the auction. As it stands, I think you have to make the cap at the very least $350.

Re: Dez Potential Holdout
I don't own Dez anywhere - but if I did I think I'd be more worried about a lack of pre-season conditioning that could lead to an early injury a lot more than I'd be worried about missing him for 1 or 2 weeks in my lineup. I attempted a couple Google searches to see if there had been any previous r...

Re: Carlos Hyde
The problem here is that guys with a limited role are usually MORE efficient than you'd expect (see Gerhart's MIN years or Randle last year), because they have fresher legs, but Hyde was pretty average in a smaller role. Hyde was used differently than either Gerhart or Randle, and I'm not sure FO's...

Impressive form; cut out 70% of my comment and bring up other threads. I very specifically stated why your argument here holds some merit - but also why on other levels I disagree with it. This thread, these posts, and the things being discussed here have nothing to do with any other thread. Grudge...

Re: Carlos Hyde
Broken tackles really is not a stat that can accurately project how good a running back will be; especially when they cannot hit the proper hole. While it is an interesting fact overall, I don't think it has a huge factor in "Hyde vs Gore". Breaking tackles is absolutely important but it ...

Re: Carlos Hyde
A quick trip to FootballOutsiders.com can settle this. Gore had a 50% success rate last year, Hyde's was 46%. Gore was 6.3% more effective than the average back on a per carry basis, Hyde was at 3%. The problem here is that guys with a limited role are usually MORE efficient than you'd expect (see G...

Re: David Johnson: Why the Hate?
Well immediately some people don't like him because they like Ellington and don't want to believe that he could be replaced. Some people don't like him because they're preconditioned to dislike anybody whose resume primarily features their measurables. Some people don't like him because he's an upri...

Re: Calvin Johnson PSA
I can't buy, because the only place I don't own him is a cap league where he's on a monster contract. But yeah, I can't even imagine playing for money in a league where joeday's trade happened. That's awful.

Re: Would you make a trade that you know is one sided?
The problem is that if you don't take it, someone else will...... Exactly this, he will just offer the same deal to someone else and they will take. Take it and let him learn from his mistakes. X's 3. And then you'll kick yourself that Cam isn't on your team, and he could have been for a very reaso...

Re: What's happened to AJ Green's Value?
As an AJ Green owner who wouldn't trade him straight up right now for any other WR, I wouldn't have a problem with him as the WR8. I think OBJ, Dez, Julio, AB, DT, Calvin, and even maybe *gulp* Evans have legitimate cases to be valued over him. Those aren't my personal rankings, but I wouldn't have...
