Re: Andy Isabella
Obviously Arizona is starting over. New coach with a completely new offense. New QB and new receivers that are hand selected for this offense. This could be fantasy gold for a rebuilding team to buy into. It is possible that some of these players go for steep discounts in some leagues ... depending ...

Re: 1.01 for the 1.04 and a top 5 2020 first
I'd happily trade away the 1.01 this year for a 1.04 + a 1st.

Re: Josh Jacobs Value - Poll
Oh, he'll be a top 10 rookie pick this year. And if I had a top 10 rookie pick then it would be something that I would gladly trade down from before selecting Jacobs.
Either that, or take Jacobs and then sell high later in the season.

Re: Nagy on Montgomery: “whole package... hands... three down back... everything we’re looking for”
MGScott ... yup! Montgomery is a really good football player, but isn't athletic enough. Some of Nagy's comparison to Hunt I agree with. However, Hunt has much better play-speed than Montgomery does. Ultimately, I see him as a replaceable level of talent that was drafted into a really good situation...

Re: Josh Jacobs Value - Poll
I think there's about 15-16 RBs I would take before Jacobs. So, I'll say Top 20. It'll be interesting to see how good Jacobs is with more volume. I think he's a solid RB, but I don't exactly see a standout talent. This is exactly where I have him for 2019. I don't see anything special about Jacobs ...

Re: Rookie QBs and Matt Waldman's RSP
I purchased the RSP last year and I felt leaving unimpressed - won't purchase it again. I think we should have an annual thread (or 4) set up for the an RSP discussion. Waldman reviews the 4 principle positions and we could have a thread for each. For me, it really is a nice catalogue on the player...

Rookie QBs and Matt Waldman's RSP
So I'm relaxing this Easter morning with hot cup of coffee & Baileys and reading a few posts on DLF. The kids have already finished finding the hidden eggs and the wife is getting cleaned up for church. It is as quiet a moment as I am going to get today. This is when the thread on Baker Mayfield...

Re: Should You Reward For Each Rushing Attempt? What About Completions? Should You Penalize For Incompletions?
Great topic! I spent some time looking at modified scoring systems that included points per first down (PPFD). The modified scoring did result in a better correlation between the fantasy results and actual football performance. In other words, a probowl caliber player would almost certainly be a top...

Re: Barkley for Fournette+++
I agree with others, that the offer isn't bad in terms of value. However, the huge number of first round picks that you already own tends to confuse matters some. You may try a simple pen & paper exercise and see how your team could look at this time next year. Use your current 1st rounders and ...

^^
Nice call-back. The comment about Bridgewater being "surgical" are a bit too on-the-nose today.

Re: Foles to the jags
^^
Yup, we may be laughing. But, I hope they are not considering Foles as their franchise QB. My guess is they are going to spend a 1st or 2nd on a QB this year, or in 2020 at the latest.
Foles didn't get top starter money. He got "hold down the fort" money.

Re: Time to buy Jared Goff in superflex?
I see. Well nobody I play with will be discounting Goff so I guess it is irrelevant for me. If you can buy low I would Same in my leagues. There will be no discount for Goff. Something that I feel didn't get enough attention in this thread was the health of Rams towards the end of the season. Kupp ...

Re: Auction start up logistics
Also the auction rookie sounds fun, but I think rookie drafts should allow worse teams the chance to help themselves. And trading auction money is harder to track than trading draft picks. My favorite league just wrapped up its 14th season and we use rookie auctions instead of drafts. Your concern ...
