Re: Going after Stafford

Well he certainly could have said it in a nicer way. What he's saying is that he likes McCoy so much that there is likely nothing he'd take in a trade to move him. I've felt the same way about certain guys on my rosters. Someone would have to soooooo grossly overpay that I'm just resigned to not tr...

Quarterback Plan

I'm wondering if I have a sensible plan of action here... My quarterback stable, and the rest of my team, is in my sig below. Obviously Stafford looks to be my QB1 for the foreseeable future, plus I'm a Lions fan so I would probably want more in return for him then anyone would be willing to give me...

Re: Rookies v. Young Vets - General Roster Mgmt

I guess I shouldn't have listed specific players, because I was mostly wondering in general how long to hold onto a young player hoping he turns into something as opposed to dumping him for an incoming rookie. But as Skip said, there probably isn't one blanket answer to that question. I am surprised...

Rookies v. Young Vets - General Roster Mgmt

I originally posted this in the "Dynasty Team Advice" forum, but I think this is the more appropriate place for it. This will be my 3rd year playing dynasty ball, and we are having just our 2nd Rookie Draft in July. I'm starting to wonder how more experienced owners manage the back end of ...

Re: Trade from 1.2 to 1.1

Looking at his roster, I don't see any way that you will get him to move out of that spot unless you overpay by quite a bit. His running backs are terrible and he desperately needs Richardson. Since you don't have a good RB to give him as part of the deal, I just don't see it happening for you, reg...

I recently pulled off a big trade for AJ Green, but I think I would probably flip him for this offer. Although, like tidewaterjc above, I am also a B-Marsh honk.

Looking for a Contract League

I've been playing fantasy football for about 12 years, and have been playing dynasty for 3. I'm looking to get into a contract league. This would be my first contract league, but it sounds really interesting. PM me if there are any openings out there.

Re: Jerome Simpson

What is this guy's value in dynasty leagues? It sounds like jail time is probably coming (not 100% for sure yet), and it also sounds like he is on his way out of Cincy. He's way down on the depth chart on the team in my sig, and I'm wondering if I can get anything in return for him. There are a few...

Re: Draft Strategy

I prefer RGIII over Luck, at least in fantasy, so I'll probably just sit tight. I can't say I've never heard this before. A guy in my league just jumped up from 1.06 to 1.01 and plans on taking RG3 there. I guess if you're not sure about RG3's availability at 1.04, put a feeler out there to the own...

Re: Draft Strategy

If you're going to trade up from 1.04, might as well go up to 1.02 to get Luck.

Re: Trade down from 1.02?

Your QB's are pretty bad...how sure are you that RG3 will last to 5? RG3 is quickly establishing himself as a top level pick here, and his value will only go up. You need help at RB, but given you're in a rebuild...now is the year to nab that QB to develop so he is producing really well when you ge...

Rookie LBs

Has anyone evaluated the incoming rookie class of LBs at all? I know that which team they land on plays a huge role for LBs, but I'm wondering if there is a rough top-10 or something out there.

Contract Dynasty League

I've been playing fantasy football for something like 12 years. At first it was weekly picks, then standard redraft leagues, then a buddy and I started a keeper league, and finally I started a dynasty league in 2010. I thought that was about as intense as it could get, but I've been seeing people po...

Re: Royster vs Helu

I just claimed Evan Royster off the waiver wire. I'm debating if I should keep him for RB depth, or trade him to the Helu owner for a future draft pick. I've never seen Royster play, which option does everyone think is best?
