Re: Peyton Manning trades
I traded FOR Peyton Manning during the season last year. Phil Rivers was my best QB and was killing me. The other guy had Andrew Luck & Manning. I ended up giving him Vincent Jackson & a 2nd round pick (we both knew I'd finish well enough that it's a late 2nd). If Manning plays like Manning ...

Re: Top Rookie RB Landing Spot
I doubt the Packers take a RB in any early rounds. They don't seem to be very good at drafting RBs and have a lot of other areas needing talent. Mostly though they don't value that position. I think they SHOULD, as taking some of the pressure off of Rodgers would really open things up. With a lot of...

Re: Steven Jackon-Reportedly to Falcons
What does everything think this means for the Rams current backfield situation? Do they just timeshare Richardson and Pead? bring in another back via the draft? I'd think they will give Pead a shot to be the guy, though not sure he is up to the task. If not, it's committee time. Pead is the high ris...

Re: Steven Jackon-Reportedly to Falcons
If he's getting the goal line work in Atlanta, he'll have a nice year. Good #2 RB.

Re: Julio or gronk?! Tough decision
That's close. In a vacuum, I'd say they're worth close to the same. With your team, I can see why this would be an attractive offer. Getting Garcon to replace Julio is nice.
I'd be tempted to make that offer but you can't be faulted for standing pat.

Re: Harvin/Graham
I wouldn't trade away Gronk or Graham for Percy straight up. If it takes Percy plus a pick (or Rudolph) to get Graham, I think you should do it.

Re: Steven Jackon-any news
I'd love to see SJax go someplace where they will make use of his receiving skills. Early in his career he was nearly as solid there as Marshall Faulk. Lately the Rams didn't even try. If I was a playoff team, I'd easily trade a late first round pick for Jackson. I think he's got two years minimum o...

Re: Fantasy Hold'em
Jimmy Graham. He gives me a huge advantage every week at that position except against the guy with Gronk. Those two are a huge tier by themselves; big dropoff after that. He's very young, got Drew Brees throwing to him and Sean Payton as head coach. In return, I'd need Hernandez or Vernon Davis + a ...

Re: Calling all commish I need you
I don't like the idea of voting on trades at all. Trades don't have to be even in everyone's eyes. There are plenty of times where I've knowingly overpaid to get what I want because it fits my team better than it would another team. It's my choice. I live & die with the results. The ONLY time th...

Re: David Wilson - venting
I think the David Wilson hype is mostly accurate. A talented back who's most likely to get his shot at being the #1 on the Giants offense. Not saying that I'd pay that price right now, but it's logical. While Andre Brown was solid as a fill-in for Bradshaw last season, if he was expected to be a fea...

Re: Steven Jackson official opts out of contract with Rams
I've read that SJax wants to play for a shot at the Super Bowl more than money. That would make Denver & Atlanta the favorites in my opinion.
He'd fit in real well with Manning's offense...

Re: Why do so many leagues only award 4 for passing TDs?
If you make passing TDs 6 points, then the only way to win is to have a top 3 QB. When the average of the top 12 QBs each year is going to be in the upper 20s and the top guys are over 40, that is the equivalent of getting to start your top 3 quarter back plus a whole extra RB for free. It is just ...

Re: Spiller offer
For those who rank Spiller the same as McCoy, take the Spiller side as you're getting Hillman dirt cheap.
Me personally: I like McCoy more than Spiller. Chip Kelly running the show in Philly means little if any dropoff in number for Shady while Spiller is still in Buffalo.

Re: Moving Forward: Wes Welker
I think Welker stays in NE for 2013. They just can't count on Gronk & Hernandez to both be healthy at the same time. If they don't retain him, Welker's production likely drops a bit. He'd still be a WR2 almost anywhere though. I'd watch for the quality of the QB at a new team. That's the biggest...
