I'd say it is fairly balanced but somewhat anemic IDP scoring. I believe MLB and run-stopping SS are your best targets. There will be some edge guys that will do well in this format, but their scoring is likely to be erratic. With only starting 2 IDPs that is where I would focus for stable production.

I just grabbed Takitaki in my salary cap league for league minimum salary, now just hoping we have an NFL preseason to see if he's going to be the guy!

His days as a fantasy RB1 are definitely past, but I think he still has some relevance as a bye week/injury guy if he signs with a team that uses his pass catching ability. I also think the scoring format gives the not to Tyreek, but there is also the character issue to worry about with him. I'd say it's personal preference really. Easily justifiable either way for me.

I don't think Garrett is going to be much help for the rest of this year anyway! I think I'd still give the nod to Garrett long term.
