Re: 2024 Free Agency
WR Laviska Shenault Jr. reportedly agreed to terms on a contract with the Seattle Seahawks on Tuesday, April 2. Wonder if this is an add due to the new rules around kickoffs? Or maybe just depth... The value of returners just went up in the NFL, so no surprise him and Patterson are getting multi-ye...

Re: Not at all early 2025 Draft thread
I feel as though people have been waiting to be able to draft Nick Singleton for two years now… Unless something drastic happens, I’d pencil him in as a top 3 2025 pick in fantasy. Great his freshman season. Not as good as a sophomore, but still super talented. I think he bounces back this upcoming...

Re: Somewhat early 2024 Draft thread
via Winks: The key thing with WR draft modeling is that once you add in draft capital, every stat from our spreadsheets add almost zero predictive power. Eat Arby’s. Testing and advanced stats is great and all, but Draft Capital remains the biggest of the big kahuna burgers when we talk about WR's ...

Re: Somewhat early 2024 Draft thread
I get that MHJR not testing is frustrating. But if the NFL doesn't care (as evidenced by his actual draft capital) then I'd argue we shouldn't either. If he drops, then I'm with you. Also, keep in mind that NFL scouts saw him last year at Ohio State's pro day. During Wednesday's Pro Day, as Stroud ...

Re: Somewhat early 2024 Draft thread
Whew. The 4.34 is probably nonsense but even 4.44 would be excellent. Must preface by saying I have no watched any MHJ film, but it would be awfully hard to put him over Nabers given that MHJ dodged everything possible. Doesn't mean MHJ isn't good, or even really good, but like I said before, there...

Re: Somewhat early 2024 Draft thread
Nabers ran a reported 4.34 at the LSU pro day Further confirms to me that hes still my WR1 Edit he also has a • Vertical jump: 42" • Broad jump: 10'9" Whew. The 4.34 is probably nonsense but even 4.44 would be excellent. Must preface by saying I have no watched any MHJ film, but it would ...

Re: Somewhat early 2024 Draft thread
Reception Perception has started its 2024 rookie assessments and Harmon has evaluated the top 3 WRs in the draft already. He has MHJ and Odunze as two of the best 3 prospects he’s charted since 2021 and has them up with Chase. He’s still trying to figure which of the 3 he thinks is the best. Nabers...

Re: Cooper Kupp - Value Up?
My hesitation with Kupp is that everything is lower body and it's all happening consistently in a small window. Re: Somewhat early 2024 Draft thread
40 time isn't king, but RBs who run a 4.7 or worse does have a positive correlation to bad draft capital or in most cases, no draft capital at all. That has a positive correlation to a lack of success in the NFL. If you lack baseline speed at that position, then what's the value? Same thing happened...

Re: Somewhat early 2024 Draft thread
A few questions: Who is your RB1 right now? I know might change post-draft. I'm seeing Benson, Brooks, Allen, etc. Who is the TE2 right now? I'm seeing a few names—Sanders most often. Who is your QB5, and will they be a viable starting QB? I'm assuming Penix or Nix here. All these questions require...

Re: Somewhat early 2024 Draft thread
Speed isn't everything, but I can't think of any RBs who are: - Big - Slow - Don't play special teams And still manage to be valuable fantasy producers. There aren't many combine outcomes that represent doomsday, but running a 4.7 is one. RBs who've run a 40YD =<4.7 since 2014 (the field is much, mu...

Re: Somewhat early 2024 Draft thread
Yeah, good point. And I’ve also seen on Twitter (don’t know how accurate this was) that there are plenty of guys with a high yprr that ended up being busts. So it might be good to throw a dart on a player like that but it’s not really any kind of “sure thing”, if that makes sense Exactly. It's not ...
