Issue with Top RB, is there is no where to go but down, especially with a down year or injury and many injuries naturally comes with the position. See Taylor. One down year and ppl want to sell.

So if you can get a top 5 QB, that's great cause their values is much stickier.

I disagree but then I think I scout TEs differently than many. I look for in-line guys who are good blockers. I don’t go for the Y TEs because the in-line guys can be on the field in all scenarios. I think we're saying the same things. I agree that a stud TE typically becomes that around Year 2. It's not common, so that's why I said you should consider yourself lucky if it happens before Year 3-5. JT or Hall, which would you rather have in PPR?

Both have team and qb issues and each have had their own share of injuries. Hall ACL injury is a bigger worry but he may have a bigger PPR upside. JT has proved it longer.

My concern would be how NE treats RBs.

The cheapest 49ers back has been a profitable player to own the past few years and is a trend that's likely to continue with guys who arent build for heavy workloads like Mitchell and Wilson. Pierce will be gone before 1.12, especially with how your league values rb.

How about moving up in the draft to say 1.06 ish for Pierce?
