Re: OBJ vs D Hopkins
There is really no reason to prefer Hopkins over OBJ, and this is coming from someone who loves Hopkins and thinks he has Top 5 WR potential. Hopkins' upside is much higher with Andre gone, and gets even higher if they ever find a QB, but OBJ is already realizing his upside and he has more explosive...

Re: Mike Davis
He's a guy that I suspect NFL teams are going to be on to sooner than fantasy players. As soon as an NFL team drafts him much higher than expected -- and over more respected dynasty backs -- the light will turn on and the hype train will vault him up draft boards. He's a late second in plenty of ADP...

Re: Cordarrelle Patterson: A Year Later
I think it's worth noting that Patterson was considered a project player when he was drafted, so it shouldn't be surprising that he's still a project after his sophomore campaign. The problem is he was given a head start on a lot of his value. I still think you probably need to hang on to him at lea...

Re: Kevin White
think the main sticking point where I lose people is you mention he had "a lot" of contested catches and PI flags, like it's a positive thing. What I've been trying to get across to people is that the majority of those plays should have never come down to that, if he ran his route correct...

Re: Gronk vs AJG (startup)
I can't see a great argument for AJG over Gronk, to be honest. As long as Gronk is healthy (much of the injuries in his career could be regarded as freak occurrences), he is a more valuable asset. Brady is almost done. Gronk's "freak accident" injury list is piling up. AJG has a better ch...

Re: Branden Oliver
He showed some serious flashes. That Jets game he looked like a beast. Chargers O-line wasn't very good but he struggled (3.9 ypc I believe) the rest of the way. I think he's a good flyer hold if you can. This, very much this. While I do think the Chargers draft a RB and I'm not expecting Oliver to...

Re: 2015 WR Class Evaluation in my opinion
I realize this looks a bit silly to some people, and having Cooper where he does certainly looks odd to me too, but let's remember how rarely things ever play out in the order of pre-draft rankings in the first place. I remember some years back when Darren McFadden was the bee's knees coming out of ...

Re: Jameis Winston value in 2QB leagues?
I'm pretty much locked in on taking him at 1.01 myself. I think if you need a QB, he's going to be worth the pick. The value of young QBs usually retains at a higher bottom floor for much longer, so I think it's both the safest pick and potentially the highest value pick for 2 QB leagues.

Re: If Dallas drafted Tevin Coleman
where would you guys rank Jay Ajayi if drafted by dallas? just for conversation sake... lets say hypothetically, that gurley and gordon both go to what are considered to be lousy situations, or situations where they are behind "entrenched" starters... I would have Ajayi as the #1 back, an...

I thought I read somewhere that it was hand-timed at the veteran combine.Tsunami wrote:Something was wrong with the timing at this Veteran Combine. Nathan Slaughter ran 4.34 in 2014, ran 4.55 now. Michael Sam ran 4.91 last year and 5.07 this year.

Re: A moment of silence...
He had a champion's attitude. It's a shame he had to spend almost his entire career on bad teams (I think only 2 winning seasons?). In his prime, I would have loved to see him play for a playoff contender, because he always played his best when the stakes were highest. I'll always remember his playo...

Re: Crowell value in rookie picks?
As a West and Crowell owner, I am in complete hold mode with both of them for now, and the foreseeable future, but in terms of what it would take to pry one away from me, I'd want a top 3, or else I don't see the motivation to move either of them... Yes, Cleveland is a hot mess, but my situation is...

Re: Crowell value in rookie picks?
Crowell's value has certainly gone down from a few weeks ago. He had a premier opportunity to run away with the job; Cleveland invested in him as their starter and West was in the doghouse. Unfortunately, he didn't get anything done. I'm not sure how much of that was due to lingering injury, or how ...

Re: Dec/Jan-16 team Ultimate Rookie Mock (1.13 OTC)
1.13 (Team 9) -- WR, Sammie Coates This team needs help at RB and WR both, and while I think the best on the board is a RB, we're going to go high-upside here and try to secure a cornerstone at WR because I think that's where you need to start the rebuilding process. Coates is a player that should p...
