Are you sure there is no additional taxi rule that allows the owner to block the claim by promoting to active roster? Typically in offseason you can move guys in and out of Taxi without penalty.

Not to pile on top, but this is a pretty soft attempt to grab Akers. You may need to add a strong first or a startable player on top.

Even if Corey Davis is a viable starter this year you likely won’t confidently start him until week 4 or 5. And on top he is down on your depth chart of WRs. I like the idea of taking the pick and replacing him on a potential wait and see WR/RB.
