Re: Levis vs. the "rest" of the field

Drake Maye and him are similar talents but I'd probably go Maye as long as he gets top 5 draft capital (which seems likely) given that he's significantly younger with a longer leash to figure things out. Wow, are we on different pages here. You really think Maye and Levis are similar talents? Based...

Re: All Things Bears

Some real doozies at QB taken #1 overall as well… I don’t think you want to see that list… What makes Caleb Williams a Peyton Manning and not a David Carr (one example)? For starters, mobility and arm talent. He's at least the best QB prospect we've had since Trevor Lawrence and is probably more ta...

Re: Reed+ or Collins/Rice

I have both Collins and Rice in a league. If I offered one or the other up for JSN, my trade partner would expect me to add something. I would too, in their shoes. His potential is still higher than the others. Also, the Reed owner here would scoff at my offer of either Collins or especially Rice f...

Re: All Things Bears

Rattler.   I’d rather use a Day 2 pick to kick the tires there than the #1 overall on Caleb and miss out on MHJr. I think people may want to pump the brakes on MHJR a little. I mean he’s really good, but… come on… How many Super Bowls did Calvin Johnson, AJ Green, Julio Jones and La...

Re: GB WRs

I don't think GB's future alpha WR is on the current roster. Several of their current guys are worth of holding and hoping, but all are flawed if we're talking about potential Alpha WR1s. I have to disagree with this. These are 1st and 2nd year players who have all made progress in their tenures in...

Re: Black Monday 2024 & Offseason Coaching Changes

As an Eagles fan and a Hurts owner I am glad to see that they got rid of Brian johnson. I really think he treated Hurts with kid gloves. Not to mention a lot of his play calling was pretty shoddy. Even just rudimentary things offensively - like having pre-snap motion in the offense (they were back ...

Re: Levis vs. the "rest" of the field

Yeah. But that's why I made the caveat of what would you do in a devy league where we don't have the luxury of waiting for landing spots. Not singling you out, but it's almost like every one of us should put "but it depends on draft capital and landing spot" in our signature. If landing s...

Re: Levis vs. the "rest" of the field

I think he can play in the league. I don’t know if I see enough that he shoehorns himself into a starting job for the next dozen years. There are holes in his game and no one knows if he’ll fill them. I see the worst completion rate of any starter in the league (astoundingly worse than Young) the 5...

Re: Levis vs. the "rest" of the field

I agree with all but the last statement here. I’d want to see where all the QBs go and what coaching staff and surrounding talent they have. I’d swap out Levis for any if the top 3 and up to 4 more of the incoming class dependent on situation. Levis hasn’t shown a whole lot up to the last game agai...

Re: Levis vs. the "rest" of the field

Curious where folks are on Levis vs. the incoming class. After CW, Maye and Daniels, where do you rank Levis? Said another way - in a devy league which incoming rookie QBs would you take for Levis? (not inc. the above) FWIW - My answer is none. Too early to tell. Draft capital and landing spot is g...

I'm surprised you got Puka for that cheap tbh

GB WRs

Many people have penciled in Jayden Reed as the WR to own in this receiver room.. but I'm not so sure. I still believe Watson has been highly productive when healthy and has truly elite upside. Health will remain a question mark until it isn't but his price has certainly fallen considerably and will...

Re: Somewhat early 2024 Draft thread

Maybe it's just me, but I thought it was a little odd Penix opted not to play in the Senior Bowl. Nix only played two series. Guessing they didn't think there was any material way to increase their draft stock in-game, opting instead to ride off the scout's and coach's opinions of their practice we...
