It's a very small sample size but Pickens and Pat F tied with the most targets from Pickett once he entered the game with 4. Dointe and Claypool only had 2 targets each.

I've also seen a taxi squad used for dynasty where other teams can put claims in for players on taxi squads and the owner has to promote them to their regular roster or lose them. Similar to the NFL. That would prevent teams from stashing good rookies and use it for what is intended.

The only real benefit I see with them are with salary cap leagues. Allows you to roster projects without going against the cap.

I was happy to grab him with a late 2nd in my draft shortly after the NFL draft. He doesn't wow you with elite athleticism, but I was impressed with what I saw and he seemed to be undervalued due to lack of elite speed and one year of production.
