Re: N. Chubb against the world

I really don’t understand why the consensus is that Duke Johnson is guaranteed all third down work. Because he's proven to be one of the best pass catching backs in the league along with Chris Thompson in Washington. These guys are elite at what they do. As long as they are around they cap the touc...

Re: N. Chubb against the world

I really don’t understand why the consensus is that Duke Johnson is guaranteed all third down work. Duke’s new contract has him set to make $4.075M per year. This most closely resembles four players: Latavius Murray James White Mark Ingram Isaiah Crowell https://overthecap.com/position/running-back/...

Just drop that league. Join and league with no defense or IDP, but don’t be lukewarm about it.

Re: Mixon to the Hall of Fame

Currently drafting in a startup - Cook went 2.01, Mixon went 2.06, Fournette is still available... And... CMC just went at 2.07, Fournette still available To be fair, I have legitimate concerns about Fournette’s recurring soft tissue issues. But I would still easily take him over Cook and CMC, and ...

You consider your post from two months ago to be part of an old thread? Have your views on the world changed so, or do you just hate to have your own worlds used against you?

PS - Love the meme.

Re: Mixon to the Hall of Fame

... Situation isn't necessary king, but if you ignore it, your team will never be as good as could be . If you need another example, look at Todd Gurley. Gurley is a top five startup pick (in normal formats - sorry john ross), but in 2016 he was terrible. Now, as far as we all know, it was still Gu...

Re: Nick Chubb catching passes in camp

Are the Hyde owners starting to sweat yet? And the RB coach is already raving about Chubb and his abilities. This isn't a slam on Hyde. I think Hyde is definitely in the top 30 RBs in the NFL in skill set and should be a starter somewhere. But, Chubb is better and will win out the day. It's really ...

Re: Mixon to the Hall of Fame

Just a little additional things for those who are on the fence or dont like Mixon at all. https://twitter.com/TheRBScout/status/934455701434494980/photo/1 lol MCM So pretty much here Mixon has a defender in his face forcing him to make a move almost immediately after the hand off. I cant count on b...

Re: Jonny Manziel poised for ComeBack?

If ever there were a closer in the NFL, it should be Tebow. The 4th quarter was always his best, statistically. And it seemed like every time he got the ball with 2 minutes to go, he found a way to win. Can’t even remember how many times he turned it around in the 4th.

Browns To Ride The Hot Hand At RB 6/22: Cleveland Browns running backs coach Freddie Kitchens mentioned on Friday that the offensive staff plans to ride the hot hand at the running back position this upcoming season. The Browns have depth and versatility in the backfield with Carlos Hyde, Nick Chub...

Re: Mixon to the Hall of Fame

There are far more overrated players than Mixon. Give me Mixon "at cost" over Barkley, Kamara & Dalvin for example. x2 Not to get too far off topic, but I have a player in that specific scenario, Nick Chubb. I fully expect him to be pretty poor this season; however, my long term view ...

Re: Another LB question

Marquis Flowers LB NE projects to be the WLB. Should be startable in your format, and sitting on your waivers. What makes you think this is right? I haven't seen anything to suggest they want to move on from Van Noy and Hightower [in his role] as the top two options  Ha, somehow I forgot the P...
