Re: Hyper-specific position designations? OLB, NT, Slot-WR,

You could do anything you want, but there isn't any website that would support a lot of those kinds of things. Especially something like "slot WR". If it's not an official NFL position no site could track it. A lot of sites do break out the IDP positions to things like DT, DE, CB and S. LB...

Re: T.Williams & R.Woods

He countered with a 2017 2nd , for Woods and a 3rd, which I declined. Yea, that's a tough one. Now if the 2nd looks to be late and the 3rd early it might makes sense because you're not really dropping too much. I think that offer isn't bad if the drop to the 3rd isn't a large one. But really at thi...

Re: T.Williams & R.Woods

T. Williams is just waiver wire fodder, don't pay anything for him. He's garbage. Woods, he's really under the radar in my book. He's actually not been that bad as a bye week fill-in in deep leagues and he's been getting good buzz in camp and he has the #2 opposite Sammy locked down and Sammy can't ...

Re: How do you respond to a really bad trade offer?

Polite decline, however I usually do include a comment just to indicate how far off their valuation is from mine. Usually that seems to improve their offers coming my way now that they know they aren't going to low ball me.

Re: Melvin Gordon Trade

I'd do that for sure. I'm not super high on Diggs but even if you were, he's not worth that much. I'd much rather take the chance on Gordon getting his act together.

Re: Veto Debate?

When I can't really figure out which side I like more then I think it's a fair deal. In any case, there should never be any veto's. Owners will always veto just because they perceive a rival getting stronger or they do it out of spite or they veto because someone vetoed their trade a few weeks ago. ...

Gio or Hurns in PPR

So in a PPR who you got? Also only need to start 1 RB. I'm thinking Hurns simply due to longevity of the position and Gio sharing time. But I do think their value is pretty close.

Re: Do I Just Not Get It?

Yea, you're seriously hurting at QB. Early and often in these leagues. You *MUST* start 2 QB every week to compete unless you are just stacked elsewhere. If it were me 2 of the first 3 rounds would have been QB and then I'd be looking for Eli as my 3rd for bye weeks and injury and I'd have looked fo...

Piling on. In Superflex Winston is a ton more valuable then Martin.

Re: When did only having to start 1 RB become a big trend?

Pretty much all my leagues have been that way for over a decade. Basic starting lineup typically is 1 each and the rest flex. I much prefer that over rigid requirements.

Re: Wheaton or Coates

Currently Coates is the more sought after player for some reason. His value is already at a peak for the season unless he turns into Bryant 2.0 (which I don't believe he will). Grab Wheaton at his current discount and sell once it becomes clear to everyone he will be the starter and his value spike...

Re: Wheaton or Coates

Agree with this. Let everyone go after and pay too much for Coats while you scoop up Wheaton for next to nothing. Heck, I picked him up off waivers end of last season and from my trade talks his value still isn't much more then that. Coats obviously has more longer term upside, but why pay those pri...

Re: How long do you honor an email offer?

... I'd rather just get an email that says something like "I'm willing to trade a RB for a WR but not a big fan of WR A. Have some interest in WRs B, C, D, and E though" That cuts to the chase of a deal framework much more quickly than him trying to come up with 4 distinct counters. If I ...

Re: JJ Nelson

I like him and I had him until the rookie draft this year where I ended up dropping him to pick up a rookie after I couldn't make any deals to free up a roster spot. Someone picked up him soon after the draft and now he's getting some buzz so I feel a bit bad about it. BUT while I think he's talente...
