Re: Deebo...time to sell?

Did they call him the team's WR1 or their top WR in the 2020 class? Because those are two very different things. It's not like Deebo's draft capital is chump change...he went early 2nd and has an established role in that offense. Right after the draft he said that if Kinlaw wasn't available at 13 t...

Re: Deebo...time to sell?

Deebo's peak was pre-draft when he was the presumed WR1 for that offense. I think he still is the presumed WR1, not counting Kittle. Short term, yes. But long term it's hard not to worry about the WR they just drafted in the 1st round and went so far as to call their WR1 and a guy they would've eas...

Re: Which Non-1st Round WR Will Be The Steal of the 2020 Draft?

A case can be made for all of these guys; so the best value is likely to be the one going the latest that hits. In my drafts, personally, those 3 are: Aiyuk, Shenault, Edwards all of which have repeatedly slipped to the late 2nd/early 3rd round (although all 3 of them have gone in the early 2nd as w...

Re: More 2020 Hype: "If You Need A RB or WR, this is the draft for you."

Going to be interesting to see how the hype cools and increases for 2020 Rookies over the off-season considering there will be little to no OTAs and or training camps ... A big buying opportunity is likely to open up for these guys after the 2020 season (especially for the rawer WR prospects: Mims)

If we’re talking speed score, AJ Dillon is the only guy close to Taylor.
So we're calling Antonio Gibson a receiver?

Re: Names we aren't talking about

"Bad" may have been a strong word but 4,000 yards nowadays isn't all that impressive to me, and I have already said that I think the Packers were frauds last year. Not impressed by barely beating teams like the Redskins and David Bough-led Lions, or needing the refs to beat the Lions with Stafford....

Re: Names we aren't talking about

By no metric was Rodgers bad last year.

He threw for 4,000 yards 26TDs 4INTs; while winning 13 games and throwing to Kumerow, Lazard, MVS for a large stretch of the season.

Re: New Heights of Rookie Fever

Hard to find data on this given that most rookie ADPs havent leveled out after the draft spike; but the ones Ive found have Dobbins/Akers/Swift going at a more reasonable 37-55 range

Re: New Heights of Rookie Fever

I don’t even think it’s rookie fever, or that these guys are going too high, I just don’t think they can appreciate in value the same way guys have done in previous years. I mean, Derrius Guice and JK Dobbins and Dalvin Cook aren’t prospects of a dramatically different caliber, but Dobbins is going...

Re: New Heights of Rookie Fever

True, but you've gotta pay to play. Of course not all of these guys will hit. But the ones that do have the potential to hit big and offset the ones that dont. I'm higher on this class than I have been in a while; which means I see a disproportional risk/reward assessment for this crop of rookies --...

Re: New Heights of Rookie Fever

I am the king of rookie fever. In a startup I've now drafted: Joe Burrow Justin Herbert D'Andre Swift Cam Akers Jalen Reagor Brandon Aiyuk For a long time I’ve felt that rookies were consistently undervalued in startups. This time last year, guys like David Johnson and Lev Bell had earlier ADPs tha...

Re: Swift vs Dobbins

I think we pretty much agree here.

I just dont understand why Dobbins has to slow down quickly after reaching top speed. Maybe a kinesiology expert can shed some light here because this recurring deceleration doesnt make sense to me
