Re: Jordy Nelson

I had Jordy AND Kelvin Benjamin.... damn. Geez, sorry man X2. That's just brutal. The news broke in the the fourth round of my 3-keeper league draft today, and my friend blurted it out right before the 4.10 picked. I was 4.12 and missed the Adams sweepstakes by literally five minutes. Still p...

Forsett (forfeit 5th) + 1.01 for J. Hill (9th) + 1.06?

12 teams. 3 keepers. Forfeit round they were taken in last year. I lucked out and drew the 1.01. Keepers so far: Alshon (forfeit 2.12) and Gronk (forfeit 3.01) Had an interesting offer to trade Forsett (5.01) and the 1.01 for Hill (9.01) and the 1.06. At first, I was all about it, since Hill is an u...

Re: Dealing with QB hoarders

No one is referring to the guy as a hoarder "just because his five QBs are better as a group" than others. The hoarding is because he has set unrealistic asking prices for these QBs. When you have 5 starting QBs in a 1 QB league and you won't give Colin Kaepernick up for anything less than Julio Jo...

Re: Dealing with QB hoarders

By my count, six of the 12 teams in this league have five or more QBs, including the OP. If it's not uncommon to carry five QBs, you can't blame this guy for carrying five viable ones. The problem isn't with the "hoarder," it's with the ridiculous roster sizes. There's different ways to play. None ...

Re: Ebron + for L.Green +

I covet Green, but I like the Ebron side in this one. David Johnson might be the best piece in this whole deal, and I think Wilson is a slight upgrade over Royal, at least in terms of long-term value. In a vacuum, I like Green better than Ebron, but the other pieces more than make up the difference....

Heh. It took me another couple minutes, but I finally put it together. I don't think dude has done enough to earn his own shorthand nickname yet. Haha. I think I'd still stick with what you have.

Re: Trade offer

I don't even know who Crow is, so I'll take the Randle/Maclin side.

Re: trade Advice

I own both and I value Strong a fair amount higher than Cobb. I think Strong has a higher ceiling and a higher floor.

Re: Which three should I keep?

Well, things have changed a bit. The Alshon owner was insisting on Cobb, so I wound up trading Cobb and Kelce to another owner for Gronk. It sucks to give up the value of Kelce as a 12th, but Gronk only counts as a 3rd. I like Gronk a lot more than Alshon, and since I have the 2.12 and 3.01, it was ...

Re: Ajayi + 2016 1st for Hill?

He's not quite ready to commit. Said he needs to mull it over. He also asked about Hyde and D. Cobb. That's still a pretty easy accept, right? I like the Ajayi deal better, but if that's what it takes to land Hill, I should probably go for it, I'm thinking.

Ajayi + 2016 1st for Hill?

Not officially on the table, but he brought it up first in negotiations via text. This is an auto-accept, right? The only thing that gives me pause is that he'll probably insist on my 1st (I have two others in 2016), which is likely to be the 1.01 and at worst maybe the 1.03. But even then, this is ...

Which three should I keep?

Just took over a team in an established keeper league. I was lucky enough to draw the first pick, which is essentially akin to getting four keepers for the price of three. That solved my first problem of what to do with my first from last year, Randall Cobb. Now I can just throw him back in the play...

Re: Paul Richardson. Thoughts?

I'm super hopeful that he breaks out, but I'm a lifelong Buffs fan, so I'm pretty biased. He was fun to watch in college, and seemed to play bigger than his size, but even as a huge homer, I'm gonna need to see more before I use a roster spot on him in my shallow league.
