So why, exactly, has Simmons been sitting on the bench all season? He is a very young and came into the league behind two established and productive starters. People expecting him to come in week 1 and light up the stat sheet were being unrealistic. Very nice to see a performance like this from him...

The alternative not listed is the dreaded RBBC. I don't know that Snell or McFarland would be given the job outright.

In all honestly, with the cap likely to go down, I don't think Conner will find a lot of takers on the open market. May very well end up resigning on a short term, cut price deal.

Even if you're not a believer, there's no way you won't be able to flip him for more once the offseason hype machine is in full effect.

In two leagues where I am rebuilding an/or having lost years:

GAVE - S. Ahmed & 2022 3rd
GOT - 2022 2nd

GAVE - S. Ahmed & 2023 3rd
GOT - 2023 2nd

EDIT - It should be noted that I am aiming for picks further out as I already have at least three 1sts and 2nds for 2021 in both leagues.

I grabbed him off waivers in two league where I am I rebuilding and added a 3rd to him to move to a 2nd, one trade for 2022 and one for 2023. Scope him, flip him and move on about your day.

To me it really depends on situation and the projected range of the pick. Going to need a bit more info to give a reasoned response.

You're probably better off.

It's never too soon to look to 2021 and while there are some very interesting looking incoming rookies, I think this year has proven that you shouldn't always be relying on them for immediate production.
