Re: Stewart's worth in pure picks

I get that Stewart is a polarizing figure, but I don't think he's a safer asset than a 1st round draft pick. Stewart is 4-5 years older than most rookies, and he's already played 5 seasons in the league. Only 2 of those seasons has he even been moderately reliable. And he's yet to show that he can s...

Re: Crazy like a fox OR crazy as f@ck?

It seems like you went into a start-up draft in rebuild mode. Like you were absolutely okay with not competing for 2 years. Why would you do that? Why question a guy's strategy - different strokes, for different folks. I went into a startup two years ago, with a year two and beyond strategy and had...

Re: Eddie Lacy best landing spot?

1. Green Bay - I know GB likes to throw the ball, but they also run the ball a sneaky amount. I'm not sure Lacy would be GB's #1 target over a more pass-oriented RB like Franklin or Lacy...But I think Lacy has more than enough pass protection and catching skills to be the unquestioned starter in GB ...

Re: Tavons Anonymous

I'm just saying that when you take what someone says about one area of Austin's game, and then generalize that statement to make it sound like Austin is a once-in-a-generation player, you are putting words into people's mouths. If no1 has said that Austin is a once-in-a-generation player, then don'...

Re: Vincent Brown or Chris Givens

As a Givens owner, I'm pleasantly surprised with the results/replies. I even voted for V. Brown myself. For those who voted Givens - care to give much reason? He'll be battling Quick to become Bradford's favorite target, and I don't envision Bradford supporting 2 outside WR's with Jeff Fisher in tow...

Re: Tavons Anonymous

Who has suggested that he's a once in a generation talent? You don't buy the hype? Fine. But don't pretend to put words in people's mouths. Many people have suggested that Austin is one of, if not the quickest player on tape they've ever scouted. His quickness, lateral agility, and elite speed jump...

Re: Tavons Anonymous

I am not going to beat this dead horse much more but I am very glad that I don't have any picks higher than 5 in any of my leagues. I hope other people take him and push players I like more down to me. He may turn out to be good but the statistics of players similar in stature and skills suggest th...

Re: Tavons Anonymous

If Austin is all the superlatives people say he is, then he should be in the discussion for the #1 pick in the NFL Draft. While I think any team taking him Top 15 definitely intends to use him heavily, NFL teams are drafting with a different set of criteria in mind. Unless your league awards points...

Re: Any suggestions

It's solid, but I fear it may ultimately get stuck in mediocrity. The hardest thing to do/find/acquire in dynasty is those studs (Rodgers, McCoy, TRich, Martin, Calvin, Julio, Green, Graham, Gronk, etc.), and I don't think you have any on your team. I think the team is slightly above average, but I ...

Re: Graham/harvin

I'm probably a bit biased as a Graham owner, but I wouldn't do it. I do think it's about fair value for him, but once you are used to having that TE positional advantage, its hard to go back. Given your lineup requirements, you're essentially swapping out Graham + Britt (or Moreno if he starts) for ...

Re: Draft coverage only on NFL Network

No problem for me either way, NFLN has the better coverage anyways. Mayock is better than Kipe and most important, they don't spooil the picks either which is HUGE. I was reading that ESPN & NFLN have both agreed not to spoil picks. So the on-air guys will only be speculating until Goodell announce...
