Re: Startup SF QB rankings
In a 16tm SF I would go QB/QB in the first two rounds. I'd also stick with young QBs, because I'd rather have the QB situation sorted for several years. No 31+year old QBs for me if I can help it, especially in a league this deep. If you're sold on CW, I do not think your second pick is too early. ...

Re: Geno Smith
What's your team? I could easily see Geno getting replaced over the next year, so I would be happy with a return like that unless I absolutely needing him for a playoff run.

Burrow
CW
Love
Kyler
Purdy
TLaw
Daniels
______________
Dak
Goff
Tua
______________
Maye
JJM
CW is a high risk, high reward pick but honestly will have pretty insulated value too just due to his capital (see TLaw). I think it's fine to take him R2 if you don't trust Burrows health.

Re: Lamb Trade
It's at least a starting point for negotiations. You get two top 15 WRs back, but I'd want nothing to do with Mixon. Olave, Waddle, and a 2025 1st then maybe we are talking. Not sure what else they have, but if you could tack on a younger prospect too... Lamb is currently the WR1-3 in dynasty. Gotta...

Re: Odunze or Bowers with this roster?
Odunze for sure. I'd be comfortable taking him before QBs JJM, Nix, and Penix and TE Bowers.
If you do want to go QB, I'd look at trading up with other assets to get Penix in the early 2nd when he falls to that point.

Re: Trade Offer (Giving Up Etienne)
ETN is a better back than both Monty and Spears from a talent standpoint, but the DET scheme is way more RB friendly than JAX. I would have really likely to see the Jags improve their offensive line a little more to protect TLaw and push the line of scrimmage, but they really focused on defense this...

Re: SF Draft OTC 1.05
Clearly they want Nabers (and so should you), so make them pay up. I wouldn't be comfortable dropping to 7 and missing out on both Nabers and Odunze unless it was an overpay. I'd want the 1.07 + 1.09 or potentially 1.07 + 2025 1st if you feel that will be mid to early next year.

Re: Aiyuk vs Kincaid vs waddle
In 2TEP tight ends are getting a massive bump. Kincaid's 36 catches will be worth 72 from Aiyuk, which is what he had last year (74 the year before). Realistically, I see Kincaid getting in the 80-100 target range this season with the departures of both Diggs and Davis.

Re: Burrow SF Trade
Lots of variables here. If you have two solid QBs already, I see the appeal of adding 1.01 and 2025 high first. I wouldn't want to depend on a rookie QB if you are a strong contender though, even though I think CW will be startable.

Clever excuse for not showing up for practice.YouMightDieTryin wrote: ↑Thu May 16, 2024 11:43 am Worthy's vehicle was stolen from his apartment overnight.
Is Rice trying to sabotage his teammate to get back up the ranks?

Re: Somewhat early 2024 Draft thread
TEP $1000 FAAB—how much would you big on Jared Wiley, KC TE? How much premium? How many teams? Without knowing much info I'm going to say try a $1 bid. Everyone just passed on him for 5 rounds in a rookie draft and not much has changed. He is still behind Kelce for 2+ years and likely Noah Gray as ...

Tough one. I think Nabers has a lower bust risk than Daniels so I'm taking Burrow/Nabers side.

Re: How far down the rabbit hole? QB debate in SF leagues
I despise not having two solid QBs options in SF leagues, so I always hit them early. The leagues where I go for value menu QBs, I've been stuck in purgatory waiting to hit them in rookie drafts. QBs are never as cheap as they are in startups and rookie drafts. All that said, you are committed now. ...
