Re: Pre-Draft Buzz/Landing Spot Clues?

Posted this in another thread, but see a lot of mocks and projections having the Steelers taking a RB in round 1; I just don't see it as a fan and follower of the team. I think it's much more likely they take a second tier guy like Gainwell, Sermon, Stevenson, or Herbert. If that's the case, I'm wo...

Re: Is it time to panic with Deshaun Watson yet?

Wow. Watson’s lawyer Hardin just outed all the names of the accusers to the press. What a d-bag. Did you expect otherwise? This is pretty much playing out like any other "he said she said" lawsuit involving celebrities and high priced attorneys. Watson just needs to pay up, claim sex addiction, go ...

Re: Opinion: Travis Etienne is the best RB prospect since Barkley

I feel like ETN is getting similar treatment to many other prospects that have been high on the radar for a long time. We get bored with them and elevate the new flavor of draft season while nitpicking the crap out of these longstanding prospects. I will say this though, I think Harris is a better p...

Re: My over-valued rookie RB for 2021? Javonte Williams

Comments like this are a good example of bad process. There actually are fantasy analysts that are quite high on Carter. If you feel Carter is no one special - not going to disagree or disrespect your opinion. But pretending to speak for the DLF community or the fantasy community as a whole with ab...

Re: My over-valued rookie RB for 2021? Javonte Williams

I’m obviously a Williams proponent, but I have Harris close behind. I like his all-around versatility as much as Williams’. I’m guessing some people ding Harris because of age, but I’m not one of them. My main concern with Harris is some uncertainty when he’s not surrounded by a team that is physic...

Re: My over-valued rookie RB for 2021? Javonte Williams

As a bit of an aside, I’d like to ask folks who love Williams a question. I see people having him ahead of Harris, but also a full tier ahead of him too. I’d like to politely request some explanation there. I’m obviously a Williams proponent, but I have Harris close behind. I like his all-around ve...

Re: Kyle Pitts

Right - basically it will come down to your perspective and who you're going to expect him to be. I certainly cannot argue that if you (in the general sense) are an owner who compared and expected Vernon Davis to be HOF material, then he'll appear to have underachieved. However as we both agreed th...

Re: Kyle Pitts

Jimmy Graham left a pass first situation in NOLA where he was seeing 120+ targets to a run first situation in Seattle where he never saw more than 95 targets. He was a TE1 up until his age 31 season, which is also the age we tend to see WRs start to fall off the cliff. His injury happened during hi...

Re: Kyle Pitts

You can improve your blocking skills. That can be taught. Having trouble thinking of any recently-lauded TEs who came in with questionable or worse blocking skills and became good blockers in the NFL. It's definitely not a long list if there are examples. I would argue that blocking is actually ver...

Is anyone buying in SF/2QB at a high risk discount?
Depends on the discount, but I am of the opinion that he won't play this year.

I think you can wait this out if you are trying to buy because I don't think his value has hit rock bottom yet.

Re: Kyle Pitts

Yeah, I agree he has a great profile and stud potential. I get that he's a receiving TE and not a "traditional TE". Still though, we've seen numerous Receiving TE fail. Waller also had a 3-4 year period where he could've been had for free, which is the point . That's where spending an early 1st on ...

Re: Kyle Pitts

The thing with Waller being a converted WR only makes the point that TE are unpredictable, even stronger I use the Waller comparison very differently. Like Kelce, Waller happens to be a TE today with the skill set of a WR. Pitts happens to be a TE with the Skill set of a WR. His ability jumps off t...

Re: Unpopular Opinion: You will waste your premium 1st round pick on Kyle Pitts.

I'm not drafting Pitts in standard leagues for all the reasons that Cameron mentioned. If you need a TE and you have the 1.05 and you're considering Pitts, why not reach out to the Kelce, Kittle, Waller, Andrews owners? You'd get an impact TE now instead of taking a chance on the ceiling of Pitts. ...
