Re: Ronnie Harrison

Harrison apparently has been struggling a bit in picking up the D. It’s up in the air how it shakes out moving forward but I’m having my doubts. He ought to be getting a lot more field time than what he is right now.

Re: Fine-tuning LB depth

I would have Kwiatkoski over the other two by more than a little bit unless you need immediate help.

Re: Fun Thread: Roster History- 10 years later!

Geez, does this look like so long ago. 14 team IDP league, this team was the second highest scoring but finished 10-9 in the regular season before losing in the semifinals. Brady, Tom NEP QB Freeman, Josh TBB QB Bradshaw, Ahmad NYG RB Forte, Matt CHI RB Goodson, Mike CAR RB Jacobs, Brandon NYG RB Dr...

PSA: Mike Hilton, CB, PIT

It looks like Hilton is available in more than a few leagues. If you have a CB or DB position in your IDP league, this guy is well worth an add. He is currently the top CB in our league. He plays the slot corner in PIT and his snap count is rising, from 62% week 1 to 71% week 2. The coaching staff l...

Why draft Akers that early if they are convinced on Hendo?
Great point and true, but that does not make Akers a better player than Henderson.

Re: Is Vaughn a drop?

I’d advise caution in dropping Vaughn (and I am not an owner and did think he was being drafted too high). TB added 2 vets - Fournette is probably going to want to be paid a lot next year and McCoy is likely in his last year as a player - who could very probably not be on the roster next year. They ...

Re: Is Vaughn a drop?

Seems like that 3rd round draft capital is really risky for a RB, in terms of a first round rookie pick. DJ was a hit, but over the past few drafts Royce Freeman, Henderson, and now a 23 year old Vaughan seem like bad investments. This is what can happen with impatient owners. The landscape may hav...

Re: Poll: Are no TC and PS related to injuries?

Link to Ringer story The sudden ramp-up from training camp to competitive action sparked concerns over the amount of soft-tissue injuries NFL players could sustain this year. In 2011, injuries increased dramatically after the NFL lockout. NFLPA president and Browns center J.C. Tretter noted in a le...

I have now at least temporarily lost Lev Bell, M Thomas, C McCaffery, C Sutton, AJ Brown and Davante Adams. You know you have problems when Carson Wentz and Brandin Cooks are your healthiest players.
Wow. My condolences. I thought my team was struggling...

Courtland Sutton tore his ACL, out for year
Well, that’s MT, Kittle, and now Sutton for me. Guess I’ll change gears to getting ready for next year.

Poll: Are no TC and PS related to injuries?

Curious to hear feedback on this. I’ll open with my opinion that players need to be “hardened” to the regular season contact and rigors and need training camp and the preseason to get themselves ready for that level of contact.

Re: Loaning/renting players... do any of you allow it?

I guess I’m also working in the context that this “renting of players” is allowed in this hypothetical league. So if the rules allowed it, and the whole league knew about the trade it wouldn’t be collusion because it wasn’t an illegal move either. However I’m not suggesting it’s a good idea just fu...

Re: 2020 In-Season Weekly Waiver Wire Adds

Mo Alie-Cox (TE - IND) worth a pick up? I think so, but Ive been carrying him for a while. Former basketball player at VCU so his learning curve at an already tough position was bigger, but he sure fits a TE profile. I think Doyle is a very solid NFL TE, but I’m wondering (hoping?) that this injury...

Re: Antonio Gibson rocket ship

Yes. As I stated already, I don't envision this player as a lead back. A Jacobs, or Zeke etc. Getting close to 20 carries a game. I'd prefer him to get less touches, and maintain efficiency, staying fresh, and not getting dinged up. An Ekeler type role (not this years Ekeler :boohoo: ). I'd prefer ...
