Re: 2024 Free Agency

Tua gets ball out on time accurately.

Who would the Fins replace him with? Tua was a top 10 QB by almost any measure.

Don’t see him going anywhere.

Re: 2024 OTA's/Training Camp Thread

IMHO - the fix would be to get rid of the franchise tag. It doesn't make the overall product better for the fans. The original intent was to retain true "face of the franchise" type guys. That would and does matter to fans. Now it's just a club to beat guys up before negotiations. But I d...

Re: 2024 OTA's/Training Camp Thread

I hope Tee puts forth just as minimal an effort to support the Bengals, as they are putting forth now to show how much he means to the franchise. And I wish him the best of luck at his new team! Wow, That is next level S____  I am sure the other 31 teams can't wait to sign up a player that pu...

Re: 2024 OTA's/Training Camp Thread

Btw, The cap is there to protect the league from owners like Jerry Jones. People are naive to believe no cap will help players. It will skew the league to the have and have nots with 3-4 teams dominating and hurting the overall product. It is foolish to think there is no breaking point on ticket pri...

Re: 2024 OTA's/Training Camp Thread

Yeah, also smart to lock him in now. If he has a repeat of last season this year. The price would go up. Big time. Ja'marr Chase AND Tee Higgins are both sitting out OTA's right now, along with Ceedee over in Dallas, and J-Jeff over in Minny. There is a monster market reset coming for #1 WR's. Texa...

Re: Somewhat early 2024 Draft thread

Vidal went 3.2 in our 12 team 1 QB league on 5/15. That is about where he should go as a RB with upside.

Re: Somewhat early 2024 Draft thread

I thought JSN was gonna be a WR1 eventually. I don’t anymore, but think he’ll still be a serviceable WR2 by end of year/next year. I was intrigued by the big bowl game, OSU WR U, and teammate quotes. I don’t have any shares but wanted some. His price is still too high for me, so he’s a guy I’ll lik...

Re: Bryce Young

Seeing NFL trades through the lens of hindsight is as easy as it gets. Wasn't so long ago many around here were bashing the Texans for trading up to select Will Anderson 3rd overall. Don't see those people here today bragging about how smart they were for being so wrong when the Texans traded the N...

Re: Christian Watson

The only thing keeping him from being elite are injuries. Sounds like the specialists have figured out the disparity in his hammy's so we will see.

He is an easy hold at this point to see if balancing out the muscle mass in his legs actually makes a major difference.

Re: Bryce Young

The major knock on Young at the time was his Height. He was easily going top 2. The Panthers look to have chosen wrong and the Texans are elated but the selection, especially at the time was not a reach. No need to rewrite history after a season. He was on a terrible team with worse coaching. There ...

Re: Puka Nacua

Not sure elevated is the right word but I agree some coaches push the right buttons so players can get the most out of their talent. Good players take advantage of good coaching in all facets but if they are not really good they won't be on the field very long in the first place fulling the role the...

Re: Marvin Harrison Jr Official Thread

He’s already being sued for millions of dollars now by Fanatics for breach of a contract that he “allegedly” signed back in spring 2023. Should send his dad down to "talk" to them. His dad was in the thick of the whole kerfluffle with Fanatics. Not a good look for Harrison Jr. Fanatics th...
