Re: Moving from RSO to MFL?

I've never done a RSO to MFL migration, but I am in 1 RSO league and understand your frustrations. The cost is extremely high related to what they offer. I run 2 MFL salary cap contract leagues. DM me and I'll give you the links and we can chat. A LOT of things that RSO automated you're going to ha...

Re: RSO Leagues

It's a fun idea. I go back and forth on writing a proposal to them about what needs to change on the site. Their biggest obstacles right now are the auction itself, as well as price. The auction is a super fun idea. It's advertised to take 3-4 hours. However, it is going to take much longer--even f...

Re: Looking for a salary cap League

Good insights into how you feel about the RSO format. The CTO, Kyle English is super responsive and started full time, so I anticipate faster changes. The site is growing and just launched the All About Reality Podcast too, so you contract league brothers can hop in and follow my cohost Matt Goodwin...

Re: In RSO, which one would you franchise tag?

You logic is very sound. Lock up that D which might be a league winner. In a single QB league other teams probably have QBs under contract and you might be able to offer Jimmy G more years at a better price point. Check out the All About Reality Podcast and follow my co-host Matt Goodwin and I for l...

Re: Value of IDP contracts in an RSO league

As one of the hosts of the new RSO-centric "All about Reality" podcast, we can scrape that data and address these questions for you. Send a question on twitter to @fantasydococ. The pod is only two episodes deep so far: https://anchor.fm/rsopodcast/episodes/Extension-Comprehension-and-a-1-01-Trade-e...

Re: Auction Draft Resources

Reality Sports Online, under "Analysis" deals precisely with this. Also, a new pod where you can ask specific questions is two episodes in: https://anchor.fm/rsopodcast/episodes/E ... 6/a-a1ptlh. @fantasydococ

Re: Auction Startup question...

Nick Andrews, writing for Reality Sports Online is doing a deep dive into contract-evaluation in terms of points per dollar spent return. Topics like this are discussed in a new Reality Sports Online specific pod: https://anchor.fm/rsopodcast/episodes/Extension-Comprehension-and-a-1-01-Trade-e18bj6/...

Re: RSO trade or cut

^^^^^You absolutely can give picks to get people to take the contract. I usually look at this from the perspective of cap space. If I am freeing up 21 million dollars in room, would the player I could likely get at auction be worth the trade of a 2nd rounder. It doesn't hurt to "give away" the pick ...

You have probably seen other chatter on here, but Reality Sports Online is easily the best way to go to dive into contract leagues.

Re: Reality Sports Online - Strategy

Gents, I write for the site and have done a few startup auctions. Big spending initially tends to be important to secure key players. Locking up rookie RBs on below market contracts have proven invaluable these last two seasons, and as the general dynasty trends towards locking up productive backs e...
