Re: Way too Early 2021 Draft Thread

That's not really an argument against it. Chase wouldn't have been drafted after Ruggs if he had been eligible this year. He will be a top 10 pick, could be top 5 but 3 of the top 5 slots are basically already taken by Lawrence, Fields and Oregon LT Penei Sewell, so that might be a tough barrier to...

Because there hasn't been a WR the caliber of Chase for several years, added to the fact that the RB class is weak and he pretty easily goes to the top of the list.
Chase is really good, but this isn't true.
Most recent one was Amari, 5 years ago.

Re: Way too Early 2021 Draft Thread

This is an interesting topic, because there's a real chance that we don't get that much more info on these players (if there's no cfb season this yr). So I'll do a top 12 simply based on what we know now (which isn't a lot). 1. Travis Etienne (RB) 2. Ja'Marr Chase (WR) 3. Chuba Hubbard (RB) 4. Just...

Re: Way too Early 2021 Draft Thread

If there are some under the radar RB prospects that come out of this class who aren't on our radar right now, similar to Jacobs last year, the '21 class could be even better than this years. RB is just a major hole right now. The QB and TE are very strong and better than this year, and the WR class ...

Re: Best net rebuild you've ever done

I've made too many trades to remember them all, but my best rebuild job is on an orphan I took over in 2017 offseason during the draft. 12 team, 1QB, PPR When I took it over, the team had no 2017 picks and my best 2 players were Andy Dalton and Pierre Garcon. The rest of the roster was guys who had ...

He might retire if he doesn't get a contract he likes. I don't think it actually happens, but I also highly doubt he's going to the kind of offer he's probably looking for.

Re: J.K. Dobbins 1.01?

I think Dobbins may produce more than people think year 1. Gus Edwards will not hold him off, and Ingram is another year older, and only carried a little over 200 times last year. I can also see them giving Lamar a few less designed runs. Looking at the Ravens schedule, although they finished as on...

Re: J.K. Dobbins 1.01?

In order for you to be able to trade down, while still remaining high enough to get Dobbins or another top pick, someone else needs to move up. People aren't really looking to make small moves up at the top of the draft this year, it's just people on the outside who are trying to get in, and if you ...

No. I wouldn't do it myself, but they're all pretty close, take your guy.

Re: 2021 QB thread

I think Fields is better than just about any 2nd best QB prospect we've seen in a draft before, and would easily be the #1 QB in the draft most years. He just happens to be in the same class as a guy who has a chance at being the best QB prospect of all-time. I don't think it's likely, but I wouldn'...

Re: J.K. Dobbins 1.01?

He was still the 5th RB taken, no matter who I took with my picks. I would have taken Dobbins at 5 if I was taking RB, but I have Dobbins, Swift, Akers, Jeudy and Lamb all extremely close. I wasn't able to find a trade for 5 so I took Jeudy gambling taking him there gave me the best chance of landin...

Re: J.K. Dobbins 1.01?

Maybe in immediate value, but I'm not playing for this year or even next. Draft capital and longer term assets are what are important to me, now I'm in the drivers seat to land Lawrence, Fields and Ja'marr Chase next year to go along with Burrow, all the WRs I got this year and my TEs Hockenson, Fan...
