Plenty of players decline certain workouts without excuses. Seems legit to me.

I would aim higher than the guys you mentioned and probably wait until the draft to move it.

If he offered a 2nd and you countered with 2 1sts without any conversation, it would be insulting. If you said from the get go that you didn't want to move down and that's how the conversation went, I don't see a problem with it all.
