Re: Late season flash in the pan or breakout?

I find it interesting that everyone is so quick to write off Perriman - because of all the names mentioned in this thread, I see the most potential in him. Maybe I should go out and try to acquire some shares on the cheap. It might be because Perriman has pan-hands. Any time he catches a ball I'm a...

Re: Late season flash in the pan or breakout?

I use 2 criteria. "Was he supposed to be good?"(draft pedigree, combine, college, etc) And "Is he currently good?" If you can say yes to both those hes probably the real deal. Unfortunately due to this I often miss out on guys like phillip lindsey and other low or undrafted guys. I don't mind. I'd ...

Re: Godwin for 1.01 Trade

Fair trade and arguments can be made both ways. I'm a huge Godwin fan, but the 1.1 this year is tempting. Ridley is definitely a better asset than Kerryon right now.

PS: Vetos are the worst.

Re: Trade Deadline in Dynasty football (includes poll)

This just became a big topic in one of my leagues after a recent trade right before the first week of the playoffs, after a normal deadline would have passed. About half of my dynasty leagues have no deadline, which I prefer. I like no deadline because it makes win-now pieces more valuable, and the ...

Re: Drop Bo Scarbrough? [POLL]

I also agree with dropping Darrel Williams for Thomas because Darrel doesn't look like he's gonna be worth much of anything in the future. At least Bo looks like he should be able to latch on as a backup and might be worth flipping for a decent pick with the perfect storm (think 2020 3rd + Bo for a ...

Re: Has anyone tried to objectively define tanking?

Also, here's why potential points is not my cup of tea: last week I started Chris Godwin over James Washington. If we use potential points, I get a 12.1 point penalty for submitting a lineup that, prior to last week, looked like the correct decision? How is that fair? I don’t follow this at all - I...

Re: Has anyone tried to objectively define tanking?

I think tanking can be pretty easily defined. It is the act of an owner intentionally playing an inadequate lineup with the objective of losing a weekly matchup in order to secure a higher draft slot. This affects the integrity of the league because it A) Gives that team a potentially higher slot ov...

Re: Way to tank if using potential points as draft orderer?

Here's what I did for team 1 in my sig: I completely punted the RB position. Sold any RBs of value and loaded up on young, high upside WRs and TEs, as well as future picks. This ensured I wasn't competitive enough to make the playoffs, and if we were doing potential points, it would have had to have...

Re: DJ Moore

I'm trying to price check DJ Moore with owner in my league. I'm 10-2 with a bye locked up. I was hoping to make this somewhat lateral move to "gain" 4 years of youth at WR. He offered the following: Give: Kenny G, 2020 1st (guaranteed to be 9-12) Get: DJ Moore, Marvin Jones I offered him Kenny and ...

Barkley is "sucking" because he isn't fully healed from the high ankle sprain, don't be shortsighted and sell him low, he'll be fine.

I would rather hold Johnson. Both players have injury issues, but RB's are tougher to land in most leagues.
That's how I'm feeling. And with my 2020 pick situation, I think I can land 1-2 RBs and 1-2 WRs to add to my core of Jacobs and DJ Moore.

Kerryon or Fuller?

For team 4 in sig, I'm sitting at 5-7 but am only 0.4 (yes, 0.4) points out of the wild card. I've got Kerryon and may potentially be able to add Will Fuller from the team vying for last and wanting to ensure 1.1 in 2020. Who do you take in a straight up trade of Kerryon Johnson and Will Fuller? Wha...

Re: Smash accept for nuk? Need help ASAP

I like it. It's fair value IMO, and makes your WR core much better. You're probably rolling out Russ and LJax most weeks, and Nuk is a HUGE upgrade over Diggs, Cooks, or any of your other WR2s.

I think your RBs are okay. With Nuk on your roster, you may be able to flip Diggs for a RB.

First trade is fair value. Not a win IMO.

The other three I agree with Gator. Not a fan.
