Re: Dalvin Cook holding out

It's pretty clear to me we're talking about actual elite players at their position here. Not guys like Nicks or Baldwin or Blount or CJ Anderson who have occasionally put up some good years. I was thinking of fantasy assets when replying with Nicks. He eclipsed 1000 yards in both his 2nd and 3rd ye...

Re: Multiple Leagues, Approach to Drafts

I try not to let it affect me too much. Very rarely do I ever try to "diversify". Why would I intentionally buy into a player I like less instead of one I like more? I'd rather be really right when I'm right, even if it means I will sometimes be really wrong when I'm wrong. If anything I typically t...

Re: Dalvin Cook holding out

You guys are arguing about what constitutes a top WR season to make a point about... whether or not it's important to have a good RB on your roster? What is anybody even talking about at this point? This whole discussion is inane. Someone said only 2 elite RBs have won Super Bowls since 2013 as if ...

Re: Dalvin Cook holding out

I think your criteria for top wr is a little skewed. 2019 (hill) 2018,2016,2014 (edelman) 2015 (Thomas) 2013 (Baldwin) 2011 (cruz, nicks) 2010 (Jennings) 2008 (Ward) I could go on but its pretty clear that superbowl teams have history of having really good WR Hill and DT are the only 2 out of that ...

Re: Buying Barkley

You really think the gap is Amari Cooper big between Barkley and Sanders? fantasy stats? Well Barkley would be a huge upgrade over sanders. I could replace amari with Keenan or Justin Jefferson in my starting lineup. I'll be giving up depth if my team hit the injury bug I might be SOL I still disag...

Re: Dalvin Cook holding out

What was the last team to win a SB with one of the top RB's? Lynch in 2014? I did not look at all the contracts, but I a not seeing a lot of recent champions with top paid RBs. While I do think it is an important position I also see a lot of teams being successful by piecing together the position T...

Re: Aaron Jones

Rookies I definitely prefer to Jones: CEH Taylor Swift Rookies I consider a toss-up with Jones Dobbins Rookies I would rather have Jones than Akers Lamb Jeudy etc So for me he's around the 1.05. In consensus value I honestly don't think he'd return anything close to that. It's an interesting dynamic...

Re: Dalvin Cook holding out

I think they will reach a deal around $10 million/year. Minnesota has most of the leverage but Kubiak does run a pretty RB centric system. It's run focused but also uses the RB a lot as a receiver. Maybe things would be different if this were a year ago with the 2020 RB draft class available next ye...

Re: Dalvin Cook holding out

Selling RBs by the end of their rookie deal is becoming a more viable strategy by the day. Why, because of Cook holding out? I don't understand this comment. Cook just finished year. Selling them at this point also means losing their top years of production, so it's not all rosy. - Avoid holdouts -...

Re: OTC SF SU

Jeez it's almost not worth drafting RBs/WRs early in this draft.

Engram or Cousins seem like the easy choices here. I'm not sure how large this league is but if it's 12 teams then you'll be pretty much the only one starting 3 QBs every week which seems like a huge advantage.

Re: Godwin or Cook

I think it's interesting that the vast majority prefer Godwin over Cook in trade while Cook goes ahead of Godwin in virtually every startup draft. This isn’t a startup. Roster makeup and competitiveness for the short term are pretty big caveats here. Startup ADP alone shouldn’t be considered the “b...

Re: Zeke & Isabella for Jacobs & Julio? - Win Now

This is Zeke pretty easily for me. I am not confident in Jacobs being a RB1 long-term, and your WRs are solid.

I'm not even sure starting Julio over Diggs and Jacobs over Zeke is an upgrade to your starting lineup this year.
