Re: Way too Early 2021 Draft Thread
So who will be the first WR drafted? Knocking Chase for choosing to sit out this year to "prepare for the draft" is not insane. He will be knock by the time an NFL team selects the first WR in this year's draft. And rightfully so. Not saying Chase is not a good player, but everything these kids do ...

Re: Way too Early 2021 Draft Thread
And they will all be negatively impacted by their poor decisions. If Chase wanted to be the 1st WR taken, that is in great danger now. Not saying Chase won't be a first round pick...but he screams of a money driven guy and I'd prefer the football player that wants to compete. Good Lord man. These g...

Re: Shenault = S.O.D?
No, and either do you so don't pretend you do .Some guys choose not to run drills for various reasons, because they will perform poorly, agent advises them not to etc. He had a core muscle injury I've heard, do we know how much it affected his 40 time? of course not, some guys can play through inju...

Re: Shenault = S.O.D?
I don't think he does, I actually know he does because thats what he ran at the combine He's a known speedster who was running injured and should've fired his agent immediately afterward for not preventing him from engaging in such stupidity. Reagor also clocked a slow 40 because he decided to bulk...

Re: Shenault = S.O.D?
He's right there with Boyd and Deebo range for me. However if I was going to gamble on a jags wr I'd rather have Chark. Look whose got 7/12 shares of both in dynasty? This guy! :D lol And yes, the Lawrence/Fields+Jags tanking was part of the reason why I loaded up on both in trades and drafts in th...

Re: Shenault = S.O.D?
Ok. This post comes with two (big) caveats. 1. I don’t watch much college ball and rely on opinions and information from people who do. 2. I’m self-aware enough that since I just took him when Mims (my target) went right before my pick, I’m trying to feel better about it. With that being said, why ...

Re: Official/Final 2020 Rookie RB Ranks
It wasn't a stupid take, just roster clogging because I felt if he could ever get healthy, he was a legit bell cow guy, so picking him up waiver wires made sense. I don't really even disagree w/that stand, there's just guys I let slip that I couldn't get back through waivers that I regret while keep...

Re: Official/Final 2020 Rookie RB Ranks
While I do agree you can extract value out of both, I think it's incredibly difficult to avoid falling into a hole of confirmation bias when you hew too closely to tape, or entirely to it. I think there are also guys out there who outthink themselves trying to go against the grain and show that the...

Re: Way too Early 2021 Draft Thread
So how would people Tier out say, the top 15-20 guys in 1QB and Superflex/2QB at this point? Curious what people's boards look like.

Re: Ranking the 2020 rookie rbs for 2021
I know you were specifying 4.40 and under and I was listing people over 4.40, that's why I specifically stated that they fit the criteria BUT ran in the 4.4s. Just pointing out there are several RB's that are at least close to your stated criteria who didn't amount to much of anything. Is 4.47 real...

Re: Ranking the 2020 rookie rbs for 2021
I've always been of the opinion that this new cliff being 27 years old is bologna specifically because of the consecutive classes that showcased Carlos friggin Hyde and Bishop Sankey as top RB prospects. Just think about the logic that led us to this new RB cliff theory: why would RB's bodies...

Re: Ranking the 2020 rookie rbs for 2021
Gibson, along with JT and Saquon are the only RBs in NFL history to run a 4.4 forty at 225+ lbs and have a 25 reception college season. That's two historically freak athletes from the same draft class.. his situation looks murky into the future but his physical talents put a ceiling on him that few...

Re: Chubb value
I would add that his knee injury in college was so thoroughly horrific that through much of the fall of 2017, there was legit fear that Chubb was just a JAG because the explosion people saw from him in the run game in '14/'15 pre-injury was gone. It turned out he got it back, and has been if not tha...

Re: Chubb value
I've made my stance on Chubb known. If Hunt weren't stealing touches he'd be my RB3 or 4 behind Saquon/CMC and maybe Zeke. Hunt's there, though, so I'd put him behind Saquon/CMC/Zeke/Jacobs/CEH with Kamara and Cook, so RB6-8. The splits are there, and pretty profound. Chubb w/o Hunt in house if mem...

Re: Chubb value
Chubb is very good. The reality is he my be just slightly more valuable than Hunt in Fantasy. This means Chubb's fantasy value is right around the 10-13th best RB fantasy wise. I get if he was on a different team a different case could be made but the reality is the following 9 RB's should go ahead...
