I've seen multiple responses in these forums with people interested in taking more than 1 position/team in a league. Why does anyone want to do this, and why is it even allowed at all?

I'm looking for someone who is starting up a new league. Large league preferred, large rosters with 1 qb plus superflex or 2 qbs.
