Re: I know why Sammie has underachieved (not injuries)

imagine paying a person millions of dollars to do a job for you and then they go out every night and drink the night away. screw those kind of players. Meh, goes both ways. Imagine putting your body and mind on the line for an organization and inept coaching/ownership pisses your career away or doe...

Re: I know why Sammie has underachieved (not injuries)

Alright, we're going to 'Monday Morning Quarterback' this... Watkins could talk all night. Seriously. The pink sunset behind him has faded to black. The beer bottle in front of Watkins has barely been sipped and the po'boy hardly nibbled as his arms flail, eyes bulge and diamond necklace sparkles. A...

Re: I know why Sammie has underachieved (not injuries)

I think he has never stopped being the kid who can just outplay the competition. Some people have so much talent, they make it to the highest level of the game and still are able to coast while other people are killing themselves to compete and still can't. Martellus Bennett also comes to mind

A little bit of crazy is sometimes a good thing.
And too much is the current AB situation. This sounds like undiagnosed mental illness. Maybe he is keeping it at bay for now but just wait

Re: I know why Sammie has underachieved (not injuries)

A lesser talent with these same delusions, demons, and self-destructive behavior becomes ASJ. Watkins was so good he still has put together an okay career because his talent was that much

Re: I know why Sammie has underachieved (not injuries)

Watkins partied "every night"—yes, "every night," he repeats—turning downtown Buffalo's Chippewa Street into his own personal frat party. Beer, liquor...Watkins didn't discriminate in lighting his $12.8 million signing bonus on fire with friends who followed him north. "Living fast," he calls it, h...

Just another fluff piece.
Not exactly. He said he used to go out and drink and smoke each night. That would explain why he underachieved as one of the best WR prospects of the last decade.
EXACTLY.

It's fluff to recount in detail how he is batsh*t crazy? It might affect your dedication to your craft

I know why Sammie has underachieved (not injuries)

IT'S BECAUSE HE IS CERTIFIABLY CRAZY.

I would quote the part but the whole thing is NUTS. You have to read this, and it will probably make you sprint to trade him

Re: 2020 BAD Trade Offers

Sitting at 1.9 in sig rookie draft. At 1.7, Dobbins and Lamb were still available, figuring they would go 1.7 and 1.8 I said, depending on what happens I am probably looking to move back in these two picks. It goes Vaughn and Dobbins and my inbox BLOWS UP. How about this offer: Give: 1.9 (Lamb) Get:...

Re: 2020 Offseason Completed Trades

A little surprised by how much negative feedback I've seen from this one. I felt like I lost a little on value, but I think it was worth it considering my depth at QB. What do you guys think? Team 2 Gave: Andrews, Herbert, Gesicki, Mattison Received: Kittle, Roethlisberger, Anthony Miller, Bryan Ed...

Re: What's Gurley got left

Sig league, won in 2018, last year ran out of gas. Consolidated years of no picks to a bunch this year (Taylor, Lamb, Higgins) and just swung this to the 2017 champ who has the hardest division and wanted to bail on Gurley. If it’s going to be worse than Italy, time to short the market and at least make money off of the deal.
