Re: The case against Value Based Drafting

I do use something similar to VBD in some redraft auction leagues which have unusual formats. I make my own spreadsheet, I calculate out the relative values of the positions with multiple baselines based on past results from as many seasons as I can conveniently find, and I use the results to deter...

Re: Input on a potential trade reversal

I definitely think the trade should be reversed and the bylaws should be changed so that if a trade becomes objectionable to one owner at any point in the future, that owner can simply reverse the trade. Should be no need for a league vote or anything either. It was once a fair deal but when it's no...

Re: LeSean McCoy

If all I could get for McCoy now is e 1.09 I'd rather just hold until the season begins. There will be a contender with RB issues by then who will pay more. Impatient owners are a great source of value for the patient owner.

Wow.

"Wow" for which side though? I guess a lot depends on team construction for each side.

Re: Jeremy Langford owners be like....

Fox doesn't really like to give rookies a big role unless his hand is forced. I'm not entirely sure where in rookie drafts Howard is going to go but I feel like he's a player where patience will be rewarded if you select him. As a better pure runner than Langford I think he will work himself into a ...

Re: Booker to Denver

I like CJA plenty but Booker immediately hit my radar as a ZeroRB pick for the 2nd round of rookie drafts. If CJA gets hurt we know Hillman is nothing special. Booker could get a real chance to take that job and run with it. As noted, DEN is not heavily invested in CJA beyond this year.

Re: Relocation Ramifications

Think the Chargers move is the most likely to be approved. If Rams also move and Oakland is shut out, anyone think there's a chance that St. Louis makes a play to get the Raiders to replace them? I think the options are Charger/Raiders in a shared stadium or the Rams on their own. Not necessarily: ...

Re: Anyone selling A-Rob?

Jags TD split between receiving and rushing was 35-5. I can't really see that being sustainable. If it's not, best hope that the Jags just add rushing TDs with little to no drop off in receiving TDs. Which is to say, ARob's value is likely at peak though it's unlikely to take a huge dive either. If ...

Abdullah for Decker

Decker to a contender who needs WR help, Abdullah to an owner building for next year.

Fair trade? Which side do you like?

Re: Regrouping for 2016

I wish I could even get a 1st for Maclin, let alone a 1st and something else. Nobody in my league likes him. Maybe wait until he has a monster game and try again on that. I would like to at least start addressing RB before the draft but maybe I need to wait until after the season. Seems like RBs are...

Take these steps: 1. Don't assume intent on the second offer. 2. Realize that "taking the high road" and starting a thread on dynasty message board titled "Why the butthurt?" are contradictory actions. 3. Instead go to this topic: http://forum.dynastyleaguefootball.com/viewtopic...

Re: Orleans Darkwa

Got him for a $3 bid out of $1000 initial FAAB which I was pretty thrilled about since I'm down to less than $30 left. I'm a mess at RB so I'll hold for now and see if he amounts to anything. Don't really like RBs in an inscrutable 4-way committee but beggars can't be choosers.

Re: Eifert v Graham+

Depends on if you think SEA will make a strong effort to fix their O-line in 2016. Graham is under contract for 2 more years. If RW can ever stop running for his life I think he'd make good use of Graham in the next couple years, especially if Marshawn isn't back. Rawls has looked good in limited ac...
