Re: RBBC in Kansas City

I guess in the end this conversation doesn’t matter. He’s going to have a prominent role in this offense. Darwin will also play. Damien rb 2 with huge upside and Darwin will be a flex option during the bye weeks with nice upside if Damien gets injured. This is mixon/Gio last year minus the talent bu...

Re: RBBC in Kansas City

... These sub 200 guys are gadgets that are fun to play with but you don’t want to break them. As false as I think this statement is, I think it’s true that most coaches think in this manner. Smaller RBs aren’t as common as featured guys, true. But I think that can be argued that it isn’t common be...

Re: RBBC in Kansas City

Damien was always going to bear the brunt of this workload. Darwin being 190 just plain puts a cap on what he can be. Everybody can point to Lyndsey and say “See!”, but he was an anomaly and his career was probably shortened by six years toting it as much as he did. The bears are scaling back Cohen....

Re: RBBC in Kansas City

Are we still on the rbbc bandwagon here? I am seeing Damien Williams adp jump a full round after that one catch. He hasn't changed a lick in my mind, but he is obviously moving up. One wide open catch and run, unreal. alot of that was busted coverage. i'll give williams credit for being there but r...

Re: Houston running backs.

The Miami Herald's Barry Jackson mentions Kenyan Drake and Kenny Stills as possible trade bait in a potential deal for unsigned Texans franchise player Jadeveon Clowney. Well that sounds like wishful thinking by a dolphins fan. Unless the Texans are just done with Clowney there would need to be pic...

Re: Rodney Anderson

For me it depends on the backup & the starter. If it is a backup with the right skillset then I agree with Factory of Sadness, and you can luck out and get a large percentage of the production. However if it is the backup to a borderline RB2/3 thats not really useful. Whereas if is a guy you fe...

Re: Rodney Anderson

Over the years I’ve put less emphasis on the handcuff. I’ve made the exception with Rodney. I truly believe he is as talented as any back in this class. Injuries sminjuries. Now that I’ve written that I look forward to him sitting on my bench eating up a spot for four years while mixon doesn’t get h...

Re: Preseason - Week 3

Evans. That's why he's "hurt"? Or AB? Maybe they're sick of him already No one is trading for AB, Oakland is stuck with him. As for who it might be I don't think it's going to be THAT big a name. My guess is Alshon Jeffrey, Eagles are more aggressive that any other team in trading players...

Re: Preseason - Week 3

A big name WR for trade? Any guesses? Just to play the game I'll say Adam Thielen. They already have Diggs and a ton of money invested in all positions. They can't cut him or else he counts as $24m plus in dead cap space. There is an out in his contract in 2021 that could be appealing to other team...

Huh, thought he was lighter than that but whatever. 4.4s at 224 is so nice.

Re: Release the guice

Not every touch was special (how often is that true for anyone?) but a few his carries absolutely demonstrated special traits. Claiming otherwise is unobjective, and likely coming from those already entrenched with a pessimistic attitude. Of more objective concern is that Washington's run-blocking ...

Clunky you say?

Re: Preseason - Week 3

I saw a study a few years back that showed preseason has no predictive properties as far as regular season record goes. Huge chunks of games being played by back end roster types. It’s practice.

Re: Rodney Anderson

I own mixon in one league and haven’t drafted yet and am very interested in Rodney. He’s had a bunch of bad injuries but they seem unrelated to each other and maybe a little flukey. Like it’s more bad luck than injury proneness. He’s good.
