Re: Sony Michel vs Courtland Sutton

I'm a Broncos fan too and all in on the Sutton hype now. I do think it's warranted though. He was long viewed as the WR1 of this class and then fell partly due to where he landed. Had Dallas drafted him, I am sure he would be the top WR drafted this year. Except in Denver, he has to wait a year (not...

Re: 2018 Training Camp Turds

Carlos Henderson didn’t even bother to show up for camp - so that is pretty turdy.

Re: McGuire Droppable now?

They say his injury timeline is only 3-6 weeks, but it seems that foot injuries have a way of affecting players for a long time even after they are back.

Re: This was a steal ?? (not a blockbuster)

Yeah, I am not sure who this favors. I figure you must either think Jordan Matthews is really good or really sucks, but not sure which. Let's look at in terms of draft picks for the 2018 rookies. I will use two recent drafts I had: League 1: Side A: 3.06 (Pettis) and Matthews Side B: 2.03 (Gallup), ...

Re: Kearse Offer

As someone who may need to cut Kearse in a league due to roster requirements, I would gladly take a future 3rd for him. He was decent, but unexciting last year as others have said, so if he continues on that path, he will be a fine bye week fill-in, but there's no guarantee he will keep the role as ...

Re: Need to cut 1 Bernard or OJ howard?

Bernard. As an owner who has been trying to trade Bernard for years, I know people don’t want to give anything up for him. Guess it depends on the league type. I doubt anyone would give you worthwhile value for Howard assuming you used a first round pick on him last year. Howard is all upside at thi...

Re: Rookie Draft done. How'd I do?

It's fine. You pick who you like. I went with conventional wisdom last year and have a lot of Mike Williams instead of Kareem Hunt or Alvin Kamara. Jones routinely goes between 5th and 7th so taking him at 3 isn't ridiculous. Chubb usually goes 3rd to 5th. If you swapped the two, you would have the ...

Re: Demaryius Thomas and Crabtree?

I think DT is a great play for this year. The Broncos can cut DT and only be out 2.2 mill next year. His cap hit is high. Most think he will be released but I could see them agreeing to a restructured deal. He is a lifelong Bronco, hasn’t caused problems, and is fan favorite. Elway is a shrewd busin...

Re: Sleeper candidates for Rb2 production?

Keep an eye out for Devontae Booker. Freeman is not assured of being a bell cow back. The Broncos like him in pass protection too, so he will probably be out there a lot more than people think.

Also if you play IDP you can cycle through cornerbacks with your money. Many top CB fantasy players get fantasy points because they aren’t great cover guys. They will pick up good points for a few weeks before they are pulled.

Re: who was youre biggest waiver wire pick up?

WW is important. I have used it in a couple ways: - pick up rookies that people drop when they don’t do anything in the first 1-3 weeks of the year (small roster leagues). I got Landry this way from an impatient owner. Could have gotten ARob too, but even I was sleeping on him. - pick up anyone who ...

Re: Holy bleep!

. In my redraft league, we've found the owner of the 1.1 can't set to autopick on MFL. The owner needs to manually pick once the draft starts. I don't see why, but this is the first I'll have the #1, so guess I'll find out. I think you cannot pre-draft 1.01 - it gets wonky. In one league, I had 1.02...

Re: On the clock at 1.10

Don’t do that trade.

Johnson will give you better results this year.

Sutton probably will next year once DT and/or Sanders is gone. Maybe two years. But I (and John Elway) fully expect him to be the WR1 in DEN by 2020.

I think I would go Sutton.

I am also a Broncos fan.
