Re: Drop Watson? (1QB salary/contract league)
In a regular dynasty format where you can keep a guy forever, I agree that he’s a hold, even in 1QB. In this league, I’m not sure it’s worth it though. If I drop him, I highly doubt anyone picks him up at his current salary, so I could potentially free up the cap space and still re-sign him next off...

Drop Watson? (1QB salary/contract league)
Team 3 in sig. I have Watson on a 1-year/$28 contract. Salary cap is $450. Cap hit for cutting a player is 40% of his salary multiplied by the number of years remaining on his contract, so I could free up $16.80 in cap space (and a roster spot) by dropping him. It’s not a windfall by any stretch, bu...

Re: 3 firsts for 2
I didn’t love the original offer, but with five QBs pushing other positions down, I could understand the logic behind it. This is just too much though. I’d hold what you have.

Re: Music thread
Not gonna lie, I didn't read through all 50 pages, but any Rush fans here?? It’s weird. I like a bunch of bands that were influenced by Rush (Fates Warning, Tool, Coheed & Cambria and the aforementioned Porcupine Tree, just to name a few), but I just can’t stand Rush. I think it’s mostly Geddy Lee’...

Re: Hurts/2.04 for 1.03
Hurts alone should be more than enough to land the 1.03. I’d hold what you have. You should be able to get a much better return in-season once Hurts picks up where he left off.

Re: 1.01 SF Decision
The crucial missing piece of info here is league size. If it’s 12+ teams, the obvious answer is to take Lawrence or trade down. If it’s 10 teams or fewer, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with taking Najee at 1.01.

Re: 2.03 for Laviska Shenault?
Nice deal for you. I like Shenault more than all the WRs in this class besides Chase and maybe Bateman, so I obviously prefer him to the 2.03.

Re: Chase Edmonds or Reagor
Reagor is the safer choice. His value is insulated and way more stable. Edmonds is the home run swing. Could be a league winner this season, or his value could be vaporized after the NFL draft. Really depends on your team makeup and how risk-averse you are.

Re: Lamb v 1.03
I voted for Lamb before the OP clarified the SF setting. I think that makes it a lot closer. If you need a QB or RB I could see going with the 1.03, but I’d take Lamb over any WR in this class.

Re: Poll: Herbert for Hopkins and Hurts
In 1QB, Nuk alone >> Herbert. I also don’t think the gap between Herbert and Hurts is very wide. This is a smash accept if I’ve ever seen one.

Re: 2021 Season Fades
I haven’t looked at any redraft rankings, but if people are drafting/buying Aaron Rodgers, David Montgomery or Calvin Ridley expecting similar production to last year, I think they’ll be sorely disappointed.

Re: One thing I've learned about fantasy football...
I’m a huge proponent of playing double-headers every week and starting the postseason as early as possible to facilitate multi-week semifinals and championship games. It still preserves the H2H aspect of FF that we all got hooked on (except X2!) and provides a big enough sample size (22-24 games) f...

Re: One thing I've learned about fantasy football...
I’m starting to come around on the whole “get your guy” thing. I’m a lifelong CU fan and watch damn near every snap they take, year in and year out. If anything, I’ve probably faded CU players like Lindsay and Shenault because I don’t want to fall victim to homerism, even though I damn well KNEW the...
