Re: Daniel Jones
Seems like a good time to remind everyone of Ezekiel Elliott. The same arguments I’m seeing in this thread about Barkley and Jones could have easily been said about Zeke and Dak. Want to guess which contract Jerry Jones probably regretted? Zeke fell off a cliff with zero warning after the new contr...

Re: Antonio Callaway
At first I thought it was said that this was due to the incident last August. But then there was an update and this suspension is from a completely separate incident. So I'm done. I dropped him in both places I had him stashed. Someone else can have the headache. At least with someone like Josh Gor...

Re: Antonio Brown’s feets
I really don't buy that he is retiring over a helmet... he would have to give back a ton of money and lose out on his remaining $30 million guarantee. Plus, his ego won't allow him to walk away without proving he is great without Big Ben.

Re: Antonio Brown’s feets
I own AB everywhere, and long ago decided to ride him out, and it has paid off in spades. Haven’t missed a playoffs in years on this man’s back. I’m holding for good unless I get a great offer, like low WR1 value. He’s my guy. But I’m obviously worried. He’s a wild card. At the same time he is a to...

Re: Antonio Brown’s feets
Serious though: I hope he is able to maintain somehow a level of cardio fitness. How will he do that? Jogging is probably out of the question. Biking is perhaps a no go while the feet heel. Maybe swimming? Also, as Dr. Jene Bremmel and others in the industry would point out, he'll have to ease into...

Re: David Montgomery
Bell is the worst example to bring up in this conversation since he dropped 20 lbs from his rookie year to his second year which ultimately allowed him to be faster & more agile on the field. If he had never lost that 20 lbs I doubt we would have ever seen the top 5-10 RB we see in Bell now. Un...

Re: 2019 NFL Training Camp Thread
I won't be shocked if it really is only just some sort of painful skin condition on his feet. I mean, it's AB. He's a diva. And after successfully forcing his way out of Pittsburgh and getting everything he wanted in the process, I can imagine him power-tripping a little right now. It is about blis...

Re: David Montgomery
Exaggeration, sure. I have no data behind it. But look, Lev Bell was a 4.60. You see plenty of RBs run in the 4.5s 4.6s range. I understand that weight adjusted speed scores are good correlators, and yet I know and see that all the things a RB does to have success in the NFL and to put up fantasy p...

Re: David Montgomery
I liked Monty for almost 2 years. I had him as my top back in this class until I watched Jacobs and Sanders. The more I watched Monty, the more I see a complete lack of burst. My issue with being a tackle breaker is that if that's his MO. what does that make him in the NFL? I struggle with seeing h...

Re: David Montgomery
- Agility/elusiveness, balance/power/tackle breaking, receiving, and explosion/burst are the Big 4 traits for me, and he is stellar in 3 of them. Explosion is not great but plenty of RBs can get by without it. he is a complete and versatile back, good at a lot of things, i especially like his balan...
