Re: Witch of the rookies qbs have the highest ceiling?

Who do yall think could turn into a qb 1 in this league? Carr, he just needs weapons. He is mature beyond his years, and is the most cerebral of the bunch. Has been around high level football since he was a child. Has a very good arm, too. What he has done with what's around him this year is very i...

Re: Acquiring the 1.02

Anyone concerned with Gurley's injury or is he still a lock for the top 3? Very concerned. Just because he has been banged up the last 2 years, and his running style concerns me in regards to longevity.....however, I would go Gordon Gurley at 1 and 2. You need RB's, and you could flip Gurley for a ...

Re: Turbin or Michael

C-Mike all the way. Seattle just letting him learn before he is unleashed. Exactly. One thing that I noticed this weekend that was suble, but a huge indication that he is getting it. The week before against SF, there was a run he made, where he appeared to stop before getting the first down, late i...

Re: Gio Bernard Help

I think people bought high on the assumption that Gio was going to be an every down back, and so far he has never proven to be this. He is more of a change of pace back, IMO. Hill was drafted in the second round for a reason. People should have seen this coming. He is probably a 10-15 touch per game...

Re: CJ Anderson or Isaiah Crowell for 2015

Isaiah Crowell..... He's gifted and well liked but the staff there. CJ is pretty good, but Peyton makes everyone look good. Plus there is still Ball, Hillman, and Thompson there. According to the CBS game crew during the Colts/Browns game, in talking with the staff, the staff felt like West was the...

Re: 2015 Early Top 10

This is for my league which is a TD league and 16 teams. I say that because QBs much more valuable. Crowell is a FA so im having a hard time figuring out where to slot him. Here's my early list. 1) Melvin Gordon 2) Amari Cooper 3) Todd Gurley 4) Marcus Mariota 5) Devin Funchess 6) Dorial Green-Beck...

Re: Biggest offseason risers

Here are mine... Yours? 1. Justin Blackmon - From virtually unowned to owned in every league 2. Charles Johnson - After good reports from camp, he moves firmly into the mid WR2 territory 3. Robert Turbin - I think Lynch goes and Turbin takes over 4. Carlos Hyde - See Turbin, Robert 5. Aaron Dobson ...

Re: Do we have a front runner 1.1 for 2015?

To me it's more than numbers. I don't care for stats too much. Gurley just looks different out there than the other Georgia RBs even though they may put up similar numbers, watching an NFL body 6'1 225 lbs. RB take kick offs for TDs is pretty damn impressive. Okay, but fantasy is ALL about stats. H...

Re: Turbin or Michael

This is all silly talk. You have two immensely talented RBs in CMike and Turbin and you think they'd spend a high draft pick on another RB? Or take on a major cost with a high-profile FA... ?? That's what Lynch already is for goodness sake. Sure, they'll add depth but nothing more. To answer the qu...

Re: Values Peaked - Sell

Another monster game for Bell this weekend. Best RB in the NFL in terms of being a complete back, and he's only 22. I'm not selling....but he single handedly gave me a shot a winning this week. My personal problem is that I have guys like Hyde, West, Michael etc...so until next year he is my main pr...

Re: Theo Riddick...thoughts?

Crowell has way more upside. He can actually gain yards running the ball, and seems to be the preferred red zone back...for now. Despite all the message board hype about Crowell, who does flash some crazy talent, as recently as this weekend the announcers of the Browns/Colts games claimed that in sp...

Re: The Film Room

Boy do these guys pump Gurley's tires. He can do no wrong, yet their analysis is clearly flawed in at least one case. At around 23 minutes, they show a play where Gurley CLEARLY makes the wrong read. If he follows his blockers outside, he has a huge gain lined up. Instead, he cuts it back inside, f...

Re: Do we have a front runner 1.1 for 2015?

It's funny you should mention that space issue. One of the positives in tape study done on Gordon, by those who do much more of that than you or I, is that he is able to hit very small creases, and turn them into big gains...even more so than Gurley, although to be fair they did agree with you on th...
